Re: From N30i to P30i leads to mouth breathing & leaks
How do you get used to the p30i? I find it puts to much upward pressure on nose and leads to pain. I use a P10 instead due to needing maximum comfort.

Re: Buckwheat Pillows
I slept on a buckwheat pillow for just a couple of nights many years ago. At the time I found it rather hard and quite noisy. Now that I have apnea, and would like to keep my chin up while asleep, I wonder if a buckwheat pillow might be a good idea. I am presently sleeping on a very old Tempurpedic...

What pillow does anyone use?
I mostly use a Bean72 buckwheat pillow, but I also have a CPAPMax 2.0 but have not used it much since I got the buckwheat pillow.

Re: Anyone move a lot in sleep some nights?
You may have to strap the machine down in some fashion. Longer hoses are available but not in the heated hose variety so you would lose the heat if you use it. What I would do if I wanted more length and wanted to keep my heated hose function is add this hose at the mask end of the hose. https://ww...

Re: Anyone move a lot in sleep some nights?
I'm SORRY everyone I was afraid to check back to see what people responded with. I bought a Hose holder today (Hose Buddy $49.99) and hope it solves the problem. Last night I ripped my hose from the back of the machine and woke up struggling to breath. It sucked. I'll be going over posts now and wil...

Re: STICKY...can't find distilled water? What can I do?
Hi. I'm in So Cal, USA. For weeks, I have been unable to find any distilled water for my CPAP in stores. In desperation, I bought six small bottles on Amazon for $24 !!! Does anyone have an idea what I can do? Thanks. Distillers are getting back in stock on Amazon... get one of those Megahome disti...

Anyone move a lot in sleep some nights?
So lately I've noticed I've woken up and my CPAP will either be turned 90 degrees or nearly hanging off my nightstand about to fall. FYI I was in the military so many there is some background there. Having disturbing dreams seems to be the only type of dream I have. Usually it seems to happen during...

I use the water from my Big Berkey right now but I need to pick up some distilled water one day as I've run out.

Re: 2 nights without electricity (so far)
Have you thought about getting a small Yamaha generator? You could run it outside with a extension cable to your room so you wouldnt have to listen to it. Look up Yamaha EF2000iSv2 on Amazon... might be worth getting even tho its expensive.

Re: weird black substance inside of humidifier tank
How's your air filter? Just changed it out, it looked fine. I went ahead and ordered some replacement hypoallergenic filters and a new humidifier tank from CPAP dot com. I also soaked the current tank in cleaning vinegar for half a hour. It looks pretty clean now. I don't see anything on the hose o...

weird black substance inside of humidifier tank
So I went to go clean my tank. I'll admit I'm kind of lazy so it had been around 2 weeks since I cleaned it. Inside along the seam right above where the metal ends was a weird black substance. I suspect it was mold but wasn't sure. I rinsed the tank thoroughly with water and dish cleaning soap then ...

Re: Melatonin experience
I've been using melatonin for around 10 years nightly... the groggyness is probably due to you taking to much. I can do 5mg and feel fine the next day. My favorite brand is Natrol Melatonin time released 5 mg unflavored.

So it's been around 2 days and I'm sure what I feel are TMJ headaches.... pretty sure its not a infection. Still not sure its connected to CPAP.
