And then there's other things to watch out for, if you love someone elderly: https://www.rawstory.com/2020/04/seniors-with-covid-19-show-unusual-symptoms-doctors-say/ from the article- "Instead, seniors may seem “off” — not acting like themselves ― early on after being infected by the coronavirus. ...

Re: The first battery tutorial that has made sense to me -- but still so many unknowns
There's a thread dedicated to batteries. Yes, I know. I've tried to tackle it before, but it quickly gets overwhelming for a beginner who knows next to nothing about electricity and isn't very handy. Plus, lately, I've started realizing that trying to modify or play with a battery is actually dange...

Re: The first battery tutorial that has made sense to me -- but still so many unknowns
There's a thread dedicated to batteries. The general consensus is to use a deep cycle battery with a DC adapter to get the most out of it. There are lithium ion battery alternatives that you can't beat for portability as an option. I have an Anker PowerHouse for example, but Goal Zero has a variety ...

Re: STICKY...can't find distilled water? What can I do?
I stumbled into a guide on Instructables.com demonstrating how to distill water yourself at home using common items most people already have readily available in their kitchen. I haven't tried it myself, but from what little I know about how distilling works, this looks like like it should work as ...

Re: STICKY...can't find distilled water? What can I do?
Filtration can only remove "contaniments" for safe, pleasant drinking water. It disturbs me that a filter claims to produce "distilled" water, as the definition of distillation is to remove solids by precipitating them by phase change>> liquid to gas, and back to liquid. This is impossible with a f...

Re: Malatonin- how much do you take before bedtime?
I take 10mg of the "Time Release" (this is important because it helps me stay asleep) type of Melatonin a night. Works great for me. If regular Melatonin isn't helping you stay sleep, I recommend trying the Time Release type. please take a look at the original post. maybe you missed it?- Hi all! I ...

Re: Covid-19 CPAP Heated Tubing Temp
Imagine, if you had testicles, you would also know that there temperature is much lower than your core body temp. LOL, whut? Did you seriously just come in here and mansplain this to everyone? Going out on a limb, but the posters reference to testicles made no sense in the comment. My guess i...

Re: Malatonin- how much do you take before bedtime?
Be careful with this stuff. I used to take 3mg timed release for a couple months or so. Shortly afterwards, I started getting hyperglycemic episodes. Once I made the connection, I stopped taking it and the episodes slowly abated over the course of a week before stopping entirely. I did some reading ...

Re: Airsense 10 APAP -- "Motor Life Exceeded, contact care provider" message, Also ? about Sleepyhead
My Airsense 10 APAP for Her machine has been in operation for about 5 years--WOW, the time has flown. I decided to update my Sleephead and Rescan software data today and noticed that my machine has a message: "Motor life exceeded, contact care provider." As far as I know, my A10 machine has been wo...

Re: cleaning solutions for the lazy
Does this generally sound like a good idea? Am I missing some other easy automatic way to clean the cpap that works as well as scrubbing with that goddamn overgrown test tube brush? No, no this does not sound generally like a good idea. It's crazy overkill. Look, I get you are trying to stay health...

Re: Best Mask for High Pressures....
This is just an observation and you maybe know this already. Different masks will require slightly different pressure settings so achieve the same results. My experience is that full face masks require the most pressure, followed by nasal cushion and then nasal pillow. My P10 mask requires the leas...
