Is SDB progressive?

Any one who knows anything abut OSA being progressive. I'm talking about "regular" OSA--not OSA that is secondary to another condition known to be progressive.

Re: Auto Delivery of Supplies?

About every 6 1/2 months I get a call from Apria letting me know they it is time for a new mask-and whatever else they can send-tubing humidifier chamber. Medicare and my secondary pay and I owe Apria nothing. They replace the whole mask and headgear. That is all they will bill for. If Medicare has ...

Just got an Activa & watched the DVD that came with it. The diassembly and cleaning is quite a process. It certainly won't get a daily cleaning. Wipe with a baby wipe is more like it. I think it is a mask devised for retirees-to give them something to do-except I've already figured out how to spend ...

This is rather late and may no longer be needed. There is a bottle style silicone nipple that fits over the mother's nipple-it helps those little ones that don't seem to be able to get the hang of breast feeding like preemies or ones with jaundice. If there is a breast feeding specialist/nurse at yo...

Yes the comments about what Medicare allows and what Apria policy is means that you can't get monthly replacements from Apria without purchasing out of pocket. I do buy elsewhere and do not order replacement pillows unless absolutely needed. When I called cpapforseniors, the person I spoke to stated...

Apria tells me that they will only bill Medicare every six months for mask replacements, filters, hoses etc. And Medicare only allows a one month spply of pillos or filters to be sent at one time. Then the guy starts some song and dance about assignment of benefits. When I buy out of pocket from Apr...

I'm with you on this feature The Opus is similar and has a 360 connector. It leaked for me and I never got around to modifying it. May try again except my modified Opti works so well. I've tried the Opus, Opti, and Bravo. Modified the Opti and Bravo and they both work well. I switch back and forth w...

So is this JUST the sound or do you have a clear, watery nasal discharge when you blow your nose? Is water condensing in your nose?

It wouldn't be the humidifier

The theory was related to sort of a saturation point in smelling food. May be an individual thing; some people in my chef class gained weight, some lost weight, some stayed the same. Anecdotal evidence only but it was pretty evenly distributed.

It was not until my third sleep study that PLMD showed up as a significant problem-of course I didn't sleep well at all the first two and got better/longer sleep on the third one. two years of PAP experience helped me sleep in the lab setting. Now if they just had a recliner for me to sleep in....

According to San Francisco legends, mayor Adolph Sutro brought the eucalytus tree to SF long ago-around the time the Sutro Baths were built. They are all around the Bay Area now--rather invasive in this environment--no koalas to eat them. Hey the AirCandy might be good for weight loss---I've read ab...

Make sure the water level in the humidifier isn't too high. Sounds travel in the hose.
