Re: Sudden unexplained large leak on airsense 10 auto
First thing to check is the silicone gasget that fits between the two halves of the humidifier tub, make sure it is seated properly, or check that it is not pinched or otherwise compromised. Second check the seals where the tub connects to the outflow tubes from the machine http://i453.photobucket.c...

Re: Heater hose Resmed S9 under battery operation
You'd have to reverse the hose and use it backwards which is doable but very awkward at the mask end, but it is an option

Re: Mask Seal Gets Red Frowny Face on Airsense 10??
Maryland, As far as the time issue is concerned........the time that Sleepyhead or Rescan picks up for their reports is based on the clock that you can adjust on the machine. I have read that some shift workers that sleep during the day and then work all night simply set the clock on the Resmed eith...

Re: Mask Seal Gets Red Frowny Face on Airsense 10??
On the Resmeds the machine's clock can be set/adjusted by the user........might want to first verify that your A10 clock is set to the correct time........that's also what the data's time is based on for your software.

Re: Autoramp feature on Resmed Airsense 10
That's not how the Auto Ramp feature works Maryland...... http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq260/Dawg357/image.jpg1_9.jpg Perhaps that is how it is supposed to work, but in actual practice, it never went to my minimum target pressure. It stayed at the lower ramp pressure all night. This is on a b...

Re: Autoramp feature on Resmed Airsense 10
I've used it on my machine, it seems to be fairly accurate, on occasion I will feel it ramp up while I am still awake, but I'd say in general it works fairly well. You are correct that it guesses that you are asleep by a change in your breathing pattern, breathing pattern is a good proxy, but not 10...

Re: what do the users think?
#1...Attitude #2...Mask #3...Proper Pressure #4...Type of Machine I think LSAT has it properly boiled down in the right order. There are those that have a "Will Make it Work no mater what" attitude, and then there are those that don't, or aren't there yet. Fortunately most people that come here are...

Re: Z1 travel machine
Eleong2, To demonstrate how utterly disappointed I am in the Q-Tube performance I would be MORE than happy to send you the Q-Tube Kit with slimline hose connector and spare replacement foam liner, with manual, in the mail. I will send it to you so you can perform an assessment of your own and report...

Re: When people say "My travel machine ..."
what do you mean? Did you actually buy a new machine specifically for travel, I guess one of those small ones? Or do you take an old one and leave the newer, good one at home so it is safe? How do you end up with 2 machines to start with, unless you've been on this a long time? My Ins. will replace...

Re: Z1 travel machine
Eleong2, Got home a bit early today so I just spent about an hour testing the two machines (Z1 Auto, Transcend Auto) side by side, with same mask, same standard six foot hose to mask with the HME heat/moisture cartridge in place between hose and mask, same pressure both machines. I tested both with ...

Re: Z1 travel machine
Eleong, I do have the Transcend machine, I will hook up the Q-Tube to it tonight and let you know. On the Z1 the Q-Tube made just a slight reduction in noise, but so little it really didn't make much difference with or without it, was still unacceptably noisy in reference to the Darth Vader issue. I...
