When in reality, neither cleaning or sanitizing are necessary unless someone plants there germs in your equipment, even then if you have a normal immune system you probably will be fine. Jim

Here’s a myth we can put to bed: You don’t have to throw out your toothbrush just because you have been sick. Whether you had the sniffles, a full-blown cold or even strep throat, you can keep cleaning your teeth with the same brush after you’re feeling better.

Can germs live on your toothbrush? Yes, indeed they can, for a few hours up to a few days. And the moist environment provided by a recently rinsed toothbrush is rather hospitable to pathogens — they usually last longer on wet bristles.

But as long as they’re your own germs, you don’t have to worry. You’re not going to make yourself sick again if you use the same toothbrush after you’ve recovered. That’s because you’ve built up antibodies over the course of your illness, so whatever is left on the brush will be wiped out upon entering your immune system. If you share your toothbrush, however, you could definitely make someone else sick.

I waded through this thread, mostly puerile musings, to find opinions on Lumin vs So Clean.
I can't say that it's been much help!

Luminous is fairly new. Very few people have had a chance to use it, yet.

Apparently CPAP.com decides they needed to snail mail me to tell me about this great (not!) item!

They are directing me to https://CPAP.com/Lumin A bargain at $219

I am disappointed. If the Goodmans are promoting they are knowledgeable CPAP users, why promote this garbage? :x

Although they have information to be removed from that mailing list, it would appear it removes from all CPAP.com marketing. I would like to know about new useful products though.

Did any body else get this? It arrived in today's mail here in Virginia.

I got the mail, but the price was kicked up to $249, which they claim is $50 off!

UV sanitizers have been around for a long time.
For my hearing aid, I have used a dehydrator with UV for many years.
Admittedly, dehydration is the primary function, the LED UV light is a plus,
but with little evidence of exactly how much it does.
My past experience with other UV devices has been consistently negative.
We bought a pair of UV room air cleaners--the bulbs pooped out within a couple months.
Damn, those things are spendy! Likewise the Lumin, and the "ozone-magic" one.
Many years ago, we were exposed to a shockingly high-pressure scare-tactic
sales pitch for a UV sanitizer to attach to kitchen sink faucets.
The lengths to which the salesman went (lies) was enough to put me completely off
any such product.

The Lumin Bullit will not work with any of my Resmed 10 heated hoses. It will not fit past the plastic post seen at 5 o'clock in the attached photo of the hose. I'm wondering if I should try to break the post off.

Please, no. HELL, NO!
That post probably holds the sensor necessary for the hose to WORK!

Maybe the Lumin Sanitizer will come with a Free ultrasonic cleaner 6L. then it could clean and sanitize if we had the time and space to make the room for it all. Jim

Well, since the lumin is totally unnecessary... for one thing I'd say "no".

Since that's the temperature sensor to tell how warm the air is... I'd say "only if you want to ruin your hose. You don't think it's there just for fun, do you?
