Re: If you use the Brevida nasal mask- advice please
Yeah...that inhale/exhale ...inflate/deflate thing. If you are using EPR exhale relief you might find that the inflate/deflate thing is less annoying if you can do without the change that using EPR brings. Otherwise you learn to live with it and it becomes less annoying. The super thinness and soft...

Re: If you use the Brevida nasal mask- advice please
Oh my goodness... I feel like I am totally missing out. I have used this mask for an extended period of time and have never experienced the pulsing you are talking about. I just went and laid down to see if I was missing something because I frequently fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow....

If you use the Brevida nasal mask- advice please
I bought this because I tried it on at the office and it seemed like it would be pretty comfortable. When I put this on at night it does this crazy annoying thing where it sucks in and out with each breath. I have my pressure start low (about 8 right now then ramp up) Even at 8 though it does that s...

Re: Can I still get a mask
I am not using my insurance to get my machine because my insurance ends at the end of the month....we just can't afford COBRA for me and hubby. The hospital gave me the mask that they used for my sleep study. I am a mouth breather so I have respironics amara view. I only used it that one night but ...

Re: F&P Brevida
I got the Brevida yesterday after a mask fitting and it was between that and the P10. I chose it because the P10 just felt like it was going to slip and slide all over my head. So my room was super cold and I didnt use a humidifier. It felt really cold and wet in the cushion all night and I didnt wa...

dreamTAP oral Sleep Apnea Device
I was really surprised to search the forums and find no mention of this device. (http://www.oralartsdental.com/dreamtap/) If there is even a chance this thing works I want to take it. I cant stop struggling after 2 years and would do anything to get off cpap. Anyone had success with this??

Re: Chin strap advice please
My situation is certainly different from yours: I am male with very little hair at all, but the best success I have found with several chin straps I have tried has been with the PAP-Cap . I suspect it would rumple a lady's hair, but it is all cotton, never stretches out of fit and for me, it has st...

Sleepyhead data, help?
Guys I have really tried to figure out how to read this data but I really cant. I got the Tap Pap mask and it appears to be making things worse but I cant really tell. My AHI definitely went up. https://imgur.com/a/vUG42 Is Apria supposed to be helping with this stuff? (My DME) Im almost afraid to s...

Chin strap advice please
OK so my mouth has been opening up in the last month or so. I am not stuffed up and nothing has changed so after 2 years of not having this problem I dont get why it's happening now :( Anyway I need to buy a chin strap but the reviews are very mixed on Amazon. I am a female and I have fine long hair...

Re: TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask - anyone tried it?
Has anyone shelled out the $30 for the upgraded mouthpiece?? I really dont like how hard the current one is. I wonder if the new one is softer. All reviews seem to be for the mask, not the new mouthpiece

Re: TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask - anyone tried it?
So I got my mask, I put it in hot water and fit it to my teeth but now Im wondering. It feels very tight on my teeth no matter how many times I do it. I'm wondering if this will act as a dental device and change my teeth like braces do. Also does anyone feel concern about the teeth being totally cov...

Re: Anyone Else Have Felt 'Crippled' By This Stupid Disorder?
Yes I do. I hate it. I hate using the machine. I hate that the air blasts my husband in the face. i hate the feeling of it. I hate that I have to lug it with me when I travel. I dont know if these things really justify using it when I'm still so tired. Me, too. I know it helps me sleep, and I don't...
