My air app

Post by Btoeps74 » Sat Mar 10, 2018 7:38 am

I just switched to the Air curve elite and started using the my air app as well. I was wondering if there was a way to see what my pressure range was while sleeping with the auto mode. I mean it tells you everything else like AHI and mask fit. Not important info but I'm curious nonetheless.

The MyAir app only shows limited data as you have found out. Pretty much it shows what you can see on the machine's LCD screen.

If you want more details you need to use available software.

Can you download Sleepyhead to a ipad? I don't want to have to buy a computer just for that.

You could download SH to an iPad but I don't think it would install and function well and there's the problem of how to get the data from the SD card to the iPad since the iPad has no SD slot. I have never actually tried it though.

ResScan is of course Windows only.

You can get a pressure number off the machine display but it is only what we call a 95% number when all it tells you is that you were at OR BELOW that pressure for 95% of the night.
5% of the night you went higher but no way to know how high without seeing the details.

Importing SD data shouldn't be an issue as they make micro SD readers for phones. The only issue is that most are micro SD card readers, so would need to use a micro chip and I'm not sure if CPAP SD cards have a special formatting or not.

Would something here work?
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/camera-mem ... cat0404007
Most of them look too big to plug into the power slot on an iPad.

Before I bought anything though I think I would try installing SleepyHead. I think that I have read here that people have tried and it wouldn't install or work on iPads.
I haven't ever tried it myself.

Sleepyhead will not run on an IPad sorry. It will only run on a computer either a MAC, PC running windows or Linux. It will not run on a chrome book nor a non windows tablet.
