Great suggestions Pugsy. Thanks so much. Will cut out the wipes immediately and see how things go.

Re: Rubbing alcohol on mask?
I sprayed the alcohol on a cotton pad and gave it a once over.
Just washed everything by hand, so perhaps a fresh start tonight.
The wipes are Sleep Essentials by VitalAire. They are a store brand from where I got my machine. They gave me 5 tubs of 70 wipes, so I thought I'd just use them up.

Rubbing alcohol on mask?
Hi guys. I have a respironics dreamwear full face. I clean my mask each day with cpap wipes and hand wash weekly. I also wash my face each night to remove oils. My issue is, I start out the night fine, but within an hour - I have leaks all over the place. Out of desperation last night, I took a cott...

Home made mask liner question
Those of you that have improvised a liner: I went out and bought some flannel. Measured, and cut an appropriate shape for my mask. Tried it out and it leaked like mad! I only used one layer of cloth - should I have used several? I was hoping it would eliminate the contact irritation I've gotten, and...

Re: Suggestions? First posting screen shot from Sleepyhead
Thank you. I find it frustrating that my provider just says, "There you go - you are good." without really looking at what is hapoening, or tweaking with the settings for the best result. If I had wanted no support or service, I would be buying online (and paying way less!). This forum is many times...

Re: Suggestions? First posting screen shot from Sleepyhead
Good morning, everyone. Last night, I set my machine back to auto with a range of 5-15. That is what the machine defaulted to, and what my provider had it set to during my first week of treatment. I woke up this morning, not feeling like I had a terrible night, or a great one. Checked my data, and c...

Thanks for all your input. I really appreciate it. I am going rogue and am going to do tonight on auto. Whats the worst that can happen?
I will post an update in the morning!

Re: Suggestions? First posting screen shot from Sleepyhead
Pugsy: Am I allowed to mess with the settings while it is a loaner machine? I feel like I might get in trouble from my provider! I havent even told them that I look on Sleepyhead. I don't know how to describe it - it is almost like they dont want people to be involved in their care. Just "Do as we s...

Re: Suggestions? First posting screen shot from Sleepyhead
These two nights were in the first week of cpap. It was with the nasal mask.
My EPR is set to 2, so that could easily be adjusted.

Re: Suggestions? First posting screen shot from Sleepyhead
Here are two screen shots from when I was set to auto. The AVI were lower, with pressures as high as 15. I don't really feel like any of my sleeps have been better than the other so I just included two days from the week that I was auto.

Re: Suggestions? First posting screen shot from Sleepyhead
My provider said that although I am being loaned the fancy machine with variable pressure, that I don't need it. When it comes time to buy (next week) that a basic cpap will do. Her logic is that due to the many central apneas detected in my inital testing, that the auto cpap would allow my brain to...

Re: Suggestions? First posting screen shot from Sleepyhead
Being on my back is totally possible. It isn't my preferred sleeping position (side sleeper), but you never know.
Last night I felt like I had a strange sleep - kept popping awake, feeling really alert. Don't know if that is relevant - just noting what happened.

Suggestions? First posting screen shot from Sleepyhead
I hope that screen grab works. I wasn't able to minimize (remove) the pie chart, but do hope I managed to capture some relevant information. I am currently trying out a loaner machine. Resmed For Her. Initially, it was set to auto, and then the company put it to cpap, with a pressure of 12. I have b...

Sleepyhead Categories to select and order?
I have seen several people offer to look at screen captures from Sleepyhead and would like to try to share mine.
Can anyone suggest to me the order of "headings" to show on the right side of the screen before taking picture? Snore, respiration rate, leaks?
Thanks, everyone.
