Me too. It turned ugly so quickly.
As threads often do when they are not dealing with a specific question. If you are posting data for new users, you need to make it very generic and not limit it to one type of mask. We all choose the mask that works the best or us. I, like many people, cannot use a nasal or nasal pillow mask. I have always used a full face mask, even during my sleep tests.
Ehhhhhh, maybe. Or maybe this one turned ugly because we are dealing with a juvenile, immature, racist little boy who can not handle even the smallest questioning or criticism of his craptastic creation.Okie bipap wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 1:41 pmAs threads often do when they are not dealing with a specific question. I was worried, I'm new here and felt that maybe my choice of a Simplex FF was somehow forced on me by the DME. I like it but hate how it sometimes blows the air right into my nose if I have the tube pointed a certain way. I tried a nasal mask and it hit my distinctive nose the wrong way. I look at Nasal Pillows and just go, um no.Okie bipap wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 1:41 pmAs threads often do when they are not dealing with a specific question. Spot on.
No, you're not *necessarily* wrong... but that might not be the best mask for you.... Choosing the best mask is often one of the more difficult things... ignore any idiot that proclaims "YOU HAVE TO USE THIS TYPE OF MASK!", whether they're at your DME, or someone here on the forum. *side glance*chartle wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 2:00 pmI was worried I'm new here and felt that my choice of a Simplex FF was somehow wrong. Actually, I said that. It was a misquote.prodigyplace wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 2:03 pmWhere did I say that??Okie bipap wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 1:41 pmAs threads often do when they are not dealing with a specific question. My post may have come off wrong so far my mask is working just fine. I tried on a half dozen full face and nasal masks before the tech pulled out this last one. As for the air blowing up my nose it only really happens when I first plugging in and standing with the hose pointed down from the face. once in bed it rotates to the side and its no longer an issue.
I worked and paid taxes from the age of 17 until I retired at age 72, including 20 years in the military. I may spend a lot of time reading and occasionally responding on the forum, and I do not consider myself a loser by any means. I feel I have earned the right to spend time on the forum if I want to.Thomas F. wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 2:29 pmI’m getting ready to head home after another productive day at the office, paying taxes, so other losers can spend the day posting mindless drivel on CPAPtalk. Yet all we hear from is angry fragile snowflakes that don’t have real jobs.
You Slackers I started paying taxes at 15, rent living at home at 16, 73 still paying!
