No, they are not! "Clear Airway" means no obstruction was detected, and the presumption is that they are central (as in "Central Nervous System") events.

You're looking at the wrong things you goon. I'm talking about the flowrate flatlines that precede those swj centrals. I want to hear from palerider or pugsy

Couple of them maybe...the rest SWJ or maybe post arousal.
They (the couple that maybe are obstructive) aren't long enough or enough of a reduction of air flow to earn the OA or hyponea flag.

This kind of microscopic work I am not particularly good at.

The machine did not flag the events at all. So they aren't flagged as CAs and the machine doesn't state a conclusion for a forced oscillation test for whether the airway was obstructed. They could be unobstruced, but they might not be.

One thing to keep in mind is that neither event near User Flag 1 appears to be 10 seconds or more long, which is the requirement to be an apnea.

Ok, best guess.. (are they obstructive)

Yes and no on the first chart, then
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
No.
Not sure.

The only way i can get an idea is if the event is long enough for FOT to kick in and then look at the relative amounts of flow vs mask pressure response from the FOT... which is exactly what the machine does, only better.
