Progress (avg AHI decreased to 5) but you still need more pressure. Raise max to 20 and raise min to 12. Reevaluate in 3 days. The bottom line is that you need to work your way up.

I 'bumped' your note back to the top so someone more knowledgable would see it and answer - it was starting to move down on the page without acknowledgement.

the switch from cpap to apap may be the reason for the feeling exhausted. Your body has to get used to work against the pressure changes and the higher pressure. I had muscle pain, sort of cramps in the beginning of changing to higher pressure. In a week or two it should be ok if not ask your doctor.
The hi number of OA, specially the clustered ones at high pressure could be wrongly recorded events in parts due to leaks. I would not worry about them. The most important is how you feel. For any changes in the settings you need patience as the body needs to adjust to it.
Frustration with settings is very normal ... and does no help. just don't give up.

There is essentially no leaking. The cluster is most likely due to REM and/or sleep position - certainly not false due to leaking. Sound REM is very important.

That is an amazing change. I suggest keeping the settings and get more data. Interesting. Please keep us informed.

I still think some of the flags are artefacts. Just my opinion
They mostly appear at high pressure. Actually the high pressure may be the cause of the events. If I may suggest limit the top pressure and keep lowering it until you get good numbers.

Esel, what events are you looking at, and what would you like to see?

I wouldn't change anything right now and I wouldn't be worrying about potential SWJ Sleep/Wake/Junk artifacts unless they returned.
If it ain't broke there's no need to go trying to fix it and looks like things are finally settling down.
Need more time on the machine to see if the trend holds or not.
If it doesn't hold...then worry about trying to fix it.

agree with Esel. how about setting pressure to a tighter range like 15/12 and see what happens?
those clustered OA might be due to central apnea caused by very high PAP pressure OR obstructive apnea during REM sleep in a supine position.
It's good to rule out the former scenario by not allowing very high pressure

I'm new to this forum and hope to install SH tomorrow night.
Looking forward to receiving advice from the community.
My average AHI is about 5.5.
Auto PAP machine.
CUrrent range machine is set to is Min Pressure 9 Max Pressure 15
Recently completed Titrated study and 10 seemed to be optimal pressure Dr. told me.
Looking fwd to having less daytime fatigue and better concentration.
CONGRATS on your CPAP success!!
