Trying to get my AHI down

Post by ziti » Mon Apr 19, 2021 8:17 pm

I've been using a CPAP for a while now and recently have started to get big swings in my AHI. Normally it is around 5-6, but now it is regularly over 9. Attached is my most recent OSCAR screenshot. Looking at it I seem to have a problem with leaks and CA events. What causes CA?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :D

You may try to lower the Max pressure to 14.
On rare occasion the high pressure can trigger CA (Central Apnea).

Try turning EPR off or if you just have to use EPR set it for ramp only and make use of the ramp feature.

Sometimes for some people (very small number) using EPR actually can trigger centrals/CAs.

My AHI looks better after one night of having the max pressure set to 14, but I think it needs to go a little higher since it looks like I was hitting that limit all night.
