I submitted the form on line on Feb. 25, 2024, then received an email saying it had been received. Nothing since then.

Re: DeVilbiss stops making sleep apnea devices
I vaguely recall DeVilbiss announcing quite a long time ago that they were exiting the sleep device market. You're right. Had I followed the link in the story to the DeVilbiss letter, I would have seen that the letter went out August 25, 2021. I'm not sure why the Post-Gazette brought this up now, ...

DeVilbiss stops making sleep apnea devices
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports in today's edition that DeVilbiss sent a letter to its customers saying it was abruptly stopping manufacturing devices. It cited parts supplies issues, but failed to mention that it uses the same foam as the recalled Philips machines. The FDA has received complain...

Re: Philips Data Breach
They only need to hit on a tiny percentage of people who fall for it in order for it to remain profitable for them. Thus it will never end. Lock down your credit profiles with Experian, Equifax, Transunion, and don't forget Innovis. Then lock down your CHEX Systems profile information. And maybe si...

Re: Philips Data Breach
Yes, I decided not to jump on it until I know it's legit. I found this on the Philips website under Security: Publication Date: 2023 June 7 Update Date: 2023 July 10 Philips is currently monitoring developments and updates related to an observed wide exploitation of a zero-day vulnerability in the M...

Philips Data Breach
I got a letter today from Philips saying that they were "notified on June 5, 2023 of a security vulnerability in a data transfer tool." The good news is that I can now get a free one-year membership in something called Experian Identity Works Credit 3B. I'll have to look into this further before sig...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
I got the same message this morning, although I had called on Friday and was told that I was still in the system. Holocron, it never occurred to me to ask if I had a "case handler."

Re: Does Anyone Hate their CPAP?
I enjoyed reading the positive stories, especially Janknitz's. My journey wasn't as difficult, but I can relate. I hated the idea of trying to sleep with something on my face, but was determined to make it work. My husband is the reason I got a sleep study, because he worried about my gasping for ai...

Re: Philips Respironics Recall V2.0 Questions and Answers
Just wondering if any Canadians have updates?? I for one haven't heard a thing. I called and got my confirmation number a month ago, and they had all my details. But I have not received any emails from Philips. I registered July 07/2021 and haven't received a thing. Thanks! A lot of us are in the s...

Once you enter your information, there's an option to "add prioritization" info which asks questions about your health.

Thanks for the link, Jeff. It was very useful, in that it confirmed I'm still in the queue. As for when I'll get a replacement. . .

Re: New research: Sleep apnoea tests missing patients' 'full story'
A single night sleep study may seriously under-diagnose apnea or miss it altogether. A means of measuring sleep performance over periods of many nights gives a much more reliable diagnosis. Flinders University are playing around with an under-mattress sensor pad: https://www.withings.com/au/en/slee...

Re: New research: Sleep apnoea tests missing patients' 'full story'
Just my opinion, but I'd think that observation (via low pressure CPAP) over a period of time (say a week or more) would yield a more accurate "full story". What are your medical qualifications to be forming and publishing such an opinion ? dataq1 did state that it is an opinion, not a fact. Which ...
