myAir travel question

Post by greatunclebill » Fri Mar 16, 2018 9:31 pm

Not fully understanding how the wireless signal gets from my cpap to the myAir website brings me to this question. If I travel from home to another state, will the wireless signal still get there? I only ask because I'm still in the trial period. Thanks.

It uses the cellular network. It'll work fine.

I was told by the DME that if I traveled into "dead" area it would catch up when back home.

It will work in all fifty U.S. States, all ten Canadian Provinces, Puerto Rico, and many other places. It may not work most other countries, or in remote areas. However, it will "catch up" when you get back home.

Another vote for "it's a cellular modem, if you're in a coverage area, then it'll work just like at home" And, of course, it'll catch up on the important (to them) compliance data even if it can't transmit for a few days.

It uses Cell and if cell is not available it will update when you get back to where Cell is available. I just spend a week in Belize and my machine would not connect to upload my data. When I got home I set it up and went to bed (got in on a late flight). Checked when I woke up and the weeks worth of data had updated on the site.
