Re: loose teeth

Interesting thread as I have noticed in the last few weeks while wearing my wisp mask that I feel pressure on my upper teeth a little bit. Sort of like when I had braces as a kid and you would put the headgear on at night. I find that I may have the mask a bit tight to stop the air leaks.

Re: DreamMapper Quit

I just installed that app last week and it worked fine for 3 days and then this weekend it keeps telling me that I have no permission to access bluetooth on the device. the device says that bluetooth is on, and the phone settings show that bluetooth is connected , but the app sits in limbo with the ...

Re: Wake Up After 2 Hours

Good info here..... I am now into my 3rd month and I have some nights for whatever reason I have to take the mask off, but for the most part I am doing at least 5 hours or so... I was curious about one thing. When I wake up after an hour or an hour and a half the first thing I do is glance at the ti...

wisp mask question

I have now had my machine for a couple of months and I found during the trial period that the wisp mask worked best for me of the ones I tried. Lately though I have had nights where I have been taking the mask off after only an hour and a half sleep as I find that on some nights I just can't get the...

does post nasal drip effect breathing?

I am pulling at straws here as it seems every night I always wake up anywhere from 1-4 hours into sleep with a small problem that usually ends up with me being awake and not falling asleep or ripping the mask off to get back to sleep. I don't seem to be bothered by this problem at the beginning of s...

Re: It's Not Always Acid Reflux!

Strangely enough, I do suffer from acid reflux, but ever since I started using the CPAP machine, I have not had one episode...even after taking the mask off early in the night.

Re: stuffiness at night

I turned the humidifier down to 1 and slept better. I will suspect that the stuffiness is caused by a small alergic reaction to pollen. Last night I was fine at bedtime and then I put my mask on and within 5 minutes of doing that I felt a sneeze coming... I could not suppress it and ripped the mask ...

Re: stuffiness at night

I have it set to 3 and usually after putting the mask on it sort of clears up a bit, but not last night, I have no memory, but took the mask off after about 1.5 hrs..... strange how I can't even remember doing it.

stuffiness at night

I was doing pretty good until the weather got nice and windows were opened. It seems I get a little stuffy at night...never really thought about it before CPAP, but now realize it pretty fast after putting the mask on. Any advice on how to remedy this issue? Heated tube? I have one but have not used...

Why do I keep taking the mask off at some point during the night?

A strange question to ask, and at the moment I remove it, I have my reasons, but in the morning when I awake I can't remember why. I find it OK going to bed and actually enjoy the forced air. I have yet to go a full night and wonder now if it is just habit or is there something really bothering me. ...

Re: exhaling issue

ahhh sorry... it is a dreamstation. I am pretty new to this and have no idea about settings although the unit was set to variable and the technician locked it to 11 today.

exhaling issue

I can't really describe this very well, but I am in my first month and have a loner unit. I have switched masks twice but have encountered the same issue. At first I thought it was coming from me, but with repeated moving of the mask it seems to go away. I can only describe it as sometimes while exh...

Re: cleaning regiment

Thanks for the suggestions... I was told to use a vinegar and water solution (10 to 1) Tried it once and just could not get that awful stink out afterwards....it did evaporate after the first night. I think I will switch to a nice dish soap

cleaning regiment

I would be curious of how often you should rinse out the hose and the mask...and what solution to use for cleaning.
