Re: Are these oxygen concentrator generators any good?

Your oxygen levels look a lot better on that new graph. You barely spent any time below 88%. You may want to see if your doctor will prescribe you a "better" concentrator down the line. I doubt you would hear or feel in your head the difference between a flow rate of 1 to 2 l/min. You don't want to...

Re: Are these oxygen concentrator generators any good?

Peter, room air consists of about 78% Nitrogen, about 21% Oxygen, plus some small amounts of other gases. The Oxygen Concentrator passes room air over Zelite crystals, that remove virtually all the Nitrogen, leaving almost pure Oxygen. This Oxygen is then pumped to the user, selectively from, usual...

Re: Are these oxygen concentrator generators any good?

Great that you had an improvement, now how do you feel? I felt better this morning than yesterday, but the brain fog and dizzyness arrived later in the day. I had Ventricular Tachycardia and have mild mid LAD disease, PVCs but worst is Autonomic Instability, so its hard for me to know what is causi...

Re: Are these oxygen concentrator generators any good?

So here is a oximeter report from my first might with it, deepest sleep I have had for a long time and as you can see, the basal average of 91.8% for sleeping is fine and the best I have ever seen it since I had an oximeter. I was thinking I could send it back and pay 3 times as much for one that de...

Re: Are these oxygen concentrator generators any good?

The flow meter goes from 1 - 6 liters/min. What setting is yours at? Seems the machine has a fixed amount of oxygen, (even though the manual claims both flow rate and oxygen concentration are adjustable, but there is only the dial for flow rate). So, the 90% oxygen appears when the flow rate is at ...

Re: Are these oxygen concentrator generators any good?

Well I bought one, an a Dedakj https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vogvigo-Portable-Concentrator-Generator-Purifier/dp/B075RB66SM/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 I had seen it top of a review of the ten best machines. However, it states it produces 90% oxygen, I am using the tube that goes up each nostril,...

Re: Are these oxygen concentrator generators any good?

Just lying in bed on the computer now and my sats are 90%. This all started the day the put me on beta blockers for my Ventricular Tachycardia, I described feeling as if my lungs no longer worked. Turned out I was allergic to them so they took me off a year ago, but the symptoms remain. I dont feel ...

Re: Are these oxygen concentrator generators any good?

I get low oxygen when I am awake as well, the hospital machine was constantly bleeping at 87% whilst I was awake, so I dont think its OSA, I literally forget to breathe sometimes, especially when talking of relaxing. I have seen my oxygen at 99% and lung function tests are good. Not every night is a...

Are these oxygen concentrator generators any good?

I don't suffer from OSA, but Autonomic Instability giving me a low blood oxygen content whilst asleep. Whilst I wait for the NHS to do something, (only been a year so far), is it worth getting one of these oxygen generators?, how do they work?, do they take air from your room and take the oxygen fro...

Re: Too mild to warrent attention?

My teenage son was very recently diagnosed with autonomic dysfunction and he also has sleep apnea. We have been treating my son's sleep apnea since November, and it has helped him tremendously. In your initial post you asked about brain fog, in my sons case treating his sleep apnea has dramatically...

Re: Too mild to warrent attention?

Make sure your heart doctor is board certified as an electrophysiologist. What machine are you using for the ECG. I use Kardia Mobile (AliveCor). I have a "Prince 180B", it is a dedicated ECG machine that even has leads, the tracings are very good and look just like the ones of mine I see in the am...

Re: Too mild to warrent attention?

i would be more worried about the VT. Ventricular tachycardia may not cause symptoms in some people. However, it can be deadly. It is a major cause of sudden cardiac death. Re: Too mild to warrent attention?

The data you posted shows lower than normal oxygen saturations, if I were in your shoes I would push for a full sleep study. Anxiety does not cause low oxygen saturations... do not allow the doctors to dismiss your symptoms as being psychological. As far as the autonomic concerns... Have you been r...

Too mild to warrent attention?

Looking for a bit of advice here. I was put on Bisoprolol beta blocker for Ventricular Tachycardia and right away developed a few distressing side- effects, one of which was breathlessness, or feeling as if my lungs were no longer working automatically. The other was feeling like a drunk Zombie. I w...
