Re: Had two bad nights back to back... any thoughts?

2 main reasons for when we have some "good" nights and some not so good nights and we don't change the settings are either REM stage sleep or we end up on our back more than usual. Something has changed but we don't know what. This night freaked me out... The block of apneas that occurred around 4:...

Re: Had two bad nights back to back... any thoughts?

On your back more last night??? I don't think so... i generally sleep on my side (facing the machine) and tend to wake up in the same position I fell asleep in. This is a major difference from pre-CPAP when I would wake up with the sheets off the bed, drenched in sweat and in very different positio...

Re: Had two bad nights back to back... any thoughts?

The dense clusters are broken up. If you want to clean things up further you probably need again a little more minimum but it's not urgent if you are sleeping decently and feeling decent. I would give these settings a few more nights to see if the trend holds and then decide if you want to clean th...

Re: Had two bad nights back to back... any thoughts?

Another bad night... what setting do I need to change? Nights seem to start out okay but then go downhill when I get deeper into sleep.

Re: Still Snoring...

I would be more concerned about the RERAs and FLs IF I wasn't feeling good and sleeping good. If you are feeling good and sleeping good then I don't know that I would be worrying about anything. Certainly not VS2 snores. What are your thoughts on my AHI being low but RERAs and FLs occurring often? ...

Re: First Timer here...

Do you buy into "sleep debt" and that it might take awhile to catch up? ... In a way, but I don't really believe it's all about sleep debt... That's actually short hand for a much more complicated issue... There's the brain damage debt from not breathing - it can take sever sufferers up to a year f...

Re: First Timer here...

Pugsy thanks for the response. Yeah, 19 was unbearable. The blowing in my mouth/face/nose was way too much. I'd have a hard time falling asleep, staying asleep and would wake up totally full of air and was uncomfortable for an hour or so. I googled how to change the settings (hoping my ins company w...

First Timer here...

Hello all. I'm a 32 y/o male who is starting his CPAP journey. I have had complaints about my snoring from friends/bed partners for as long as I can remember, certainly my early 20s, maybe even my teen years. After starting my career and eating out all the time I put on 60 pounds and the complaints ...
