Restless leg

Can't get sleepyhead to download on my crappy computer....on air curve 10 vauto 8/13 for six weeks. Ahi down from 54.8 to
5.2 to 5.8.....still not feeling rested after 8 hours on machine. Have bad knee ache that stops me from falling to sleep.
Can these arousels cause ahi to stay in the 5 range? Seeing sleep doctor in two weeks...

Yep... you could be having a lot of awake/semi awake flagged events that aren't real. We call them SWJ or sleep/wake/junk.
If you spend a lot of time awake or tossing and turning the machine might flag awake breathing irregularities as some sort of apnea event and give you a false positive and thus higher than you want AHI.

Definitely possible.

The nights where my back pain is really bad and my sleep quality poor and lots of tossing or turning and wake ups...my AHI is always higher and it almost is always primarily SWJ.

I sometimes have knee pain (old knees-original equipment).
Sometimes putting a pillow under the knee helps me.
Cheap and easy if it works.
