Re: Too much brain fog to sort this out - heading in right direction or no?

Are you experiencing any nasal congestion? I don't see you needing a bilevel machine from these reports at this time. Let's see where the pressure wants to go with the max at 20. Nasal congestion....that question is real important. I will explain in more detail if you tell us you are having some nas...

Re: Help for this weekend pls?

Try your new settings (the increase in EPAP) while awake for about 10 minutes. You should be able to tell how it goes. Turn ramp off because unless you have changed the ramp starting pressure setting it is probably giving you EPAP 4 and PS 4 which makes IPAP 8 when you first start the machine. EPAP ...

Re: Help for this weekend pls?

What mode? What is your PS? I increased the Epap setting from 6-7. Left the Ipap as it was on 15. Did I do right.....increasing the pressure or should I have decreased it? Impossible to answer because 1...we don't have all your settings available 2...we don't know what the problem was/is so there's ...

Re: Selling Used Equipment

Secondwindcpap.com is a reputable place to deal with but I doubt they will want your S9 with that many hours on it. Last I saw they weren't buying any machines with more than 2,000 hours on it. Have you looked at their website and what they say about used machines hours. I know that a few years back...

In any future posts please lose the calendar and pie chart. They are taking up space that useful data could be in.

Re: Periodic Breathing Conern

No. That's not CSR. CSR/Cheyne Stokes Respiration is just one of many types of Periodic Breathing that has a very specific criteria to make it CSR. Yours doesn't. http://i.imgur.com/Po5bH2o.jpg Now this person below has real CSR and heart failure to go along with it. http://i.imgur.com/9bLIWwNl.jpg ...

Re: AirSense 11 AutoSet on sale today only.... $699 at cpap.com

Just got another email that the AirSense 11 AutoSet is again available for $699. Use promo code ResMed2024. Masks are also included.....unsure if it if only ResMed masks or if other brands are included. Email wasn't clear about that. I couldn't find a specific expiration date for the promo code but ...

Also regarding this site cutting out or not being able to establish a connection as was mentioned a few weeks ago, noticed this happening quite a lot today? Re: set time/date on Philips Respironics xPAP device

What does your machine look like? There were more than one model of the BiPap S/T. This one? 1. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/respironics-remstar-auto-cflex or this one 2. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/remstar-auto-m-series-a-flex or this one 3. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/respironics-pr-...

Re: set time/date on Philips Respironics xPAP device

acbio.com (they repair cpap machines) might be able to do it. https://acbio.com/ You might contact them and ask if they do and ask about cost. Exactly which model???? Was it one of the recalled machines??? How bad is the time off???? OSCAR software allows for some adjustment with the time. Do you kn...

Re: Okay to use used Bipap machine?

I've read articles that seem a bit fear mongerish online about the risks of using a used machine (mold, germs, bacteria, viruses) but it's unclear to me how transmission would work if the tubing/parts are replaced. I want to be safe/thoughtful - anything else I should consider? You have done more t...

Re: OSCAR RESULTS AND INTERESTING APNEA

Ahhhh. I understand your desire to sort out your unwanted symptoms but putting awake breathing under the microscope is not going to give you the answers you want. Heck...I don't even know if your asleep breathing is the problem but I know that awake breathing isn't the problem. Not all our problems ...

Re: ResMed Filter Question

I don't see the ResMed Lumis 150 VPAP ST machine listed on any of the filters, is it able to use the filters meant for the ResMed S9 and Airsense 10 CPAP machines? Yes. If the Lumas has the body style of the S9 models or the AirSense 10 models then those filters will work I haven't seen an AirSense...
