Re: Prepping for the next outage

It appears to connect your Airsense 11 to the Renogy power bank you would need the adapter cable that is used with the Medistrom Pilot 24 Lite battery. The top cable pictured on this link. https://www.amazon.com/ResMed-AirSense-Cable-Medistrom-Pilot-24/dp/B0B3F7ZY65 The cable plugs into the Airsense...

Re: Prepping for the next outage

Completed the test running my Resmed Aircurve 10 Vauto on my Renogy GP14 72ah 266wh power bank. The adapter cable I bought for $7 says it has a DC7406 plug on one end to connect to the Resmed machine and a DC5521 plug on the other end to plug into the dc jack on the power bank. The cable also came w...

Re: Prepping for the next outage

I just ordered a cable for $7 that will connect my Resmed Aircurve 10 Vauto to my Renogy GP14 72000mah power bank. When I get it I give it a test and see how long it lasts at my settings. From what I've read the Airsense 11 with 65watt power supply is a more efficient machine and uses less power tha...

Re: Prepping for the next outage

So the 65w Air mini dc to dc converter is compatible with the Airsense 11. I suspected so even through Resmed claims it is not. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. You can use the Air Mini dc to dc converter if you want to run on a 12v source. There are also adapter cables available to connect...

Or two 12v batteries in series to achieve 24v with appropriate cable/connector. Inline fuse would be recommended also.
yes forgot about that option

Re: Prepping for the next outage

It looks like there are cables available online to connect the Airsense 11 to various batteries, you would need that cable. Then you can use an adapter if needed to connect the cable to whatever 24v battery you have. You also could use the cable to connect to any aftermarket dc to dc converter, if t...

Re: Prepping for the next outage

You may get more feedback from those using an Airsense 11 on battery power if you change the title of the thread. Maybe something like "Running Airsense 11 on battery" or " Battery for Airsense 11?" Someone has to have been through all this with the same machine your using. I looked up the specifica...

Please post whatever portable ready charger you get for your regular machine.
I'll be using my Renogy GP14 72000mah power bank to run my full size Resmed machine. I see now that you had already started a thread on the subject, I'll post over there.

Re: Cpap for extended wilderness camping?

I have 2 mostly fully topped off Halo Bolt car jumpstarter/chargers about the size of a vcr tape. https://www.qvc.com/footers/el/pdf/E229136-Instructions.pdf They have a regular power plug in them and it says 65w max output. The AS11 is 65w I believe. 5Ah and 14v. So....if I turn off the heater and...

That was quite the undertaking. If you get a chance post some insights of what you learned about using your z2/power banks while on the trail.

Re: Cpap for extended wilderness camping?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I spent nearly an hour searching messages and can't find what I'm looking for. QUestion: I'm looking to use my cpap with my car's battery using an inverter. Simple question: Does the car need to be running to draw power for the entire time that I am asleep? To use...

Re: Cpap for extended wilderness camping?

I had been considering the Maxoak K2 50000mah laptop power bank. That amount of battery would have given me about 5 nights of therapy with my Z2 set at 8cm, it didn't have the usb-c jacks though. It would not be the best option for a full size Resmed machine. You wouldn't get very many nights from i...

Re: Cpap for extended wilderness camping?

I guess I never did post a photo of my equipment. The Baseus 30000mah power bank and Z2 are a little bigger than a pound of butter. Without the hose and mask my guess is the two weigh about 2.25 pounds, which is amazing. With the pictured Baseus power bank I can run my Z2 at a pressure of 7 or 8cm a...

Re: Cpap for extended wilderness camping?

Busy thread while I was away, life has been very hectic. My full size Phillips and Resmed machines now mostly stay at home and run off ac power from the wall. I stopped using them for camping because they require quite a bit of battery power and I had grown weary of hauling around large heavy batter...

Re: Cpap for extended wilderness camping?

I wish I had an answer for you but I don't. The manual and online information on the Renogy GP14 is extremely vague. I don't know what sort of safety protections it provides. I would contact Renogy and ask. Lithium cells are usually around 3.7vdc give or take. If you wire them in series you can get ...
