Re: Should I change my nasal pillow
I struggled with a couple different nasal pillows for a while and finally gave up. I always had to have them tight so they wouldn't leak with all my tossing and turning. They rubbed my nose raw. Quite painful. Eventually went back to a nasal cushion that goes over the whole nose. Also have to wear a...

Re: New to the forum. Looking for answers.
Getting a lot of sleep does mostly eliminate my aches. Like I said if I can sleep for 12 hours or more I'm feel real good and ready to take on the world. My aches and pains are pretty much gone if I can get a lot of sleep. I do go through stretches where it's like having the flu every day. If I get ...

Re: New to the forum. Looking for answers.
Here is an image of my Sleepyhead flags next to the sleep chart for my Withings Aura sleep monitor. I picked the night that best reflects what is happening as I sleep. I'm still working with Withings to try and get everything adjusted properly to reflect the most accurate data. It still is not indic...

Re: New to the forum. Looking for answers.
Breathing is borderline with pressure of 5 through my Airfit N10 mask. Can breath good at pressure of 6. You can see I started tweaking the pressure settings recently from 5 where they had it set. Everything before that was adjusted by the sleep center. Thanks so much for the help.

Lets see if I got these links to my Sleepyhead screenshots right. Hopefully I have some useful data posted. No Flow Limit graph available for my Remstar S1 Auto. Re: Side Sleeper needs mask help
I have had the same experience. Not much help in choosing the right mask from the local supplier. Unfortunately I and the insurance company spent a lot trying to figure out something that will work. I'm still not quite there since I'm still having treatment problems 3 years later. I did find a mask ...

Re: Are there physical retail stores that sell CPAP supplies?
I'm the fool that payed out my nose for equipment when I first got it a few years ago. When I went in for my sleep study it was the first time I had ever dealt with insurance. I was completely ignorant. I have a $2000 deductible to meet and my insurance company only negotiates the price done 10% on ...

Re: New to the forum. Looking for answers.
I'm pretty certain limb movements were not a problem. I'll have to double check that. I'm not overweight. 5'11" 170lbs. Had appendicitis this spring and lost 10-15lbs. I was down to about 155-160lbs and very thin. This did not seem to change my apnea at all based on the cpap data. I have lost muscle...

Re: OT: Colonoscopy Prep
Had my first this year. They had me take Miralax and Gatorade. I think it would have went pretty well, but I made the mistake of buying the regular Gatorage. It was hard to get a whole pitcher of it down being so incredibly sweet. I don't like Gatorade now.lol Next time I'll mix something myself so ...

Re: Are there physical retail stores that sell CPAP supplies?
Keep this in mind when your shopping. My insurance company does not cover supplies bought outside their network. So if I want to shop on the internet, I pay for it all myself and the cost does not go toward my insurance deductible. If I want to go through insurance than I need to shop with an in net...

Wanted to say Hi and look forward to solving some of my sleep problems. Hopefully I can also be of help to people in the future. A little history of my apnea. Started feeling bad about 4 years ago. Very rarely had dreams, tired and run down all the time. Wake up feeling bad with headaches and all ov...
