Re: Possible CO2 issue

I was reading that one cause of chronic migraine with CPAP is that I may not need continuous high pressure and possibly a BiPap would be needed. Or a CPAP without fixed pressure at 90% all night long.I remember during the sleep study I could not get the pressure high enough as I have asthma and kept...

Re: Possible CO2 issue

Just got a new mask frame last week and used it one day and then woke with the same morning headache and nausea followed by feeling unwell until mid day until it wore off. Later on that day followed by migraine with aura. Same cycle. Thank you for your suggestion. Now wondering if it's the pressure,...

Re: Possible CO2 issue

Back to my original question to the Board Members here about rebreathing CO2, just got an email from my neurologist that most certainly my symptoms are connected with not only rebreathing CO2 but with disregulation of air pressure. Migraine with aura will be triggered along with morning headache and...

Re: Possible CO2 issue

ResMed equipment is indeed an option in the equipment drop down menu but it just doesn't mention "ResMed"...instead it goes by the model name. If you are unsure....look on the blower for the model number and post it here and then we can tell you which choice to make. Also please use text instead of...

Re: Possible CO2 issue

I still believe you may be blocking the CO2 vent somehow either positionally or with bedding, etc, which is why I suggested the collar... have you explored that any further? If the OP is using the P10, it would be very difficult to block the vents, however, the vents could easily be clogged up if t...

Re: Possible CO2 issue

I recommended the collar because re-breathing CO2 makes you feel sick. The vents on each mask are different, bu† basically consist of a small patch (or ring) of tiny holes that allow CO2 to vent/leave after being exhaled by you. I am thinking that is what is happening to me, rebreathing the CO2. I ...

Re: Possible CO2 issue

Okay, I found on the bottom of the CPAP the name AirSense10. But the humidifier comes with it, it's not separate, so cannot fill out the type of humidifier. Also, how do I find out the software? Entered the AirSense10 to the profile. Thanks for your help :) When was the last time you cleaned the ve...

Re: Possible CO2 issue

I did check it out online. I see there are various kinds of sizes and shapes too, which shape do you recommend? Here is the brand of foam cervical collar (DMI) that I use - https://www.walmart.com/search/?query=dmi%20foam%20collar&cat_id=0 Along with CPAP, I've worn one every night for years. They ...

Re: Possible CO2 issue

Okay, filled out my equipment profile. My CPAP machine and supplies are mostly not on the list. I have a ResMed CPAP machine and ResMed heated humidifier. I use a heated coil tubing. I make sure all my supplies are up to date.

Hoping this helps :)

Re: Possible CO2 issue

I can't snore with my nasal pillow on. When I snore I usually wake myself up. I tried to snore on the nasal pillow and I can't get the pressure to work for a snore, so my guess is that I am not snoring while I use my nasal pillow. Thank you for sticking with me on this issue and trying to help me !!...
