No. He only suspected sleep apnea. My mom let me borrow her cpap once. My God, it was like I woke up a whole new person. Completely and utterly refreshed.
Wow! I wish you had mentioned this first! I doubt that this is a placebo effect.

Best bet is to get exactly what she has, as that seems to work for you. Since you're looking for a AirSense 10 AutoSet (or AutoSet for Her) I suspect that's the one that you tried. You should try the min that your mom has and set the max up to 20 (which is the machine max). Remember, that's where you're starting, you'll need to adjust as you go along. Also, I suggest getting the same mask as she has.

From reading previous threads, it looks like a ResMed Auto would be my best bet. What do you think?
The resmed s9 or airsense10 autoset is my favorite...

Oh, no! You don't know what her mother has. It could be a brick - horrible for titrating!

Full data automatic is also good even if you HAVE had a sleep study.
Some labs can over-titrate; and pressure needs may change with weight changes.

Good point. I'll modify my advise to say that she should get the "automatic version" of what her mother has (unless it's a very old machine).
