Why would the majority of my AHI be made up of clear airway events?

You know you might have some wiggle room on that exhale pressure.
You might do okay in terms of OSA prevention with less EPAP than the 6.
You might try 4 or 5 EPAP and which ever feels good just add the 4 cm to it.
The 6 minimum was a guess and middle of the road compromise to get you in the ball park. You really didn't have anything in the way of obstructive stuff last night except the one lone OA and hyponea which leads me to believe that you could probably lower that EPAP a little and still have effective therapy.

Your results for last night look much better. The CA's are at the beginning of your sleep and you can probably disregard them. I would continue this setting for a few more days and check results. I wouldn't worry about about this machine turn off but if it continues you might move the machine where you can't reach it easily.

Here are the last two nights. AHI has crept up just a smidge, but nowhere near as high as before. Still experiencing some bloating, but it has definitely improved so far. Might try dropping down the pressure by 1(9:5). Thanks again for the advice.

So I've been experiencing other problems. At the 10:6 pressure, my AHI is usually good, but yesterday I woke with really bad aerophagia. Felt like a knife in my belly. Passed most of it in a couple hours, but really debilitating. So, last night, I tried a pressure of 8:4 and only slept for 3.5 hours before I took the mask off in my sleep. AHI was 8.4(mostly obstructive). 10 seems to be the sweet spot, but that swallowed air was bad. I did sleep on my back the night the aero was really bad so maybe that was the cause of some of it. I do snore really bad on my back.

Also not sure how to keep myself from taking the mask off in the middle of the night. Seems like everytime I think its going good I take a couple steps back.

Were the apnea events you had last night at the lower settings concentrated in a few clusters or spread out evenly over the entire night?
