Re: CPAP + O2 COncentrator

On the Inogen, I think buying from the manufacturer is the same cost as at DME's. $1499. They did overnight it to me at no charge, but that may have been a courtesy since it took so long to get the rx from my dr. They were very helpful with that problem, just my dr couldn't seem to get around to it ...

Re: CPAP + O2 COncentrator

Like wyonel, I decided the at home concentrater would fit into my lifestyle better than a traditional concentrater. I travel frequently to visit family, and like to camp on blm lands. I wanted a battery operated one, but they only come in pulse models. I did spend the 1.5k on it. I considered a typi...

Re: VPAP Adapt S9 "sensor failure" screen shots-thoughts?

I'm glad that the graphs look good. As the report shows, the machine is working extremely well for me. I don't want to mess with a good thing! I missed the instructions to add a link to the screenshot. Here it is: http://imgur.com/LuTVq2p I appreciate the wisdom and patience you-all have given me. I...

Re: VPAP Adapt S9 "sensor failure" screen shots-thoughts?

I've studied, searched the internet, etc. I think I have a better handle on understanding the grafts. Organizing the grafts in SleepyHead helped, because I could see the "important" grafts all together on one screen. The grafts look about the same over the months. I hope that means the sensor error ...

Re: VPAP Adapt S9 "sensor failure" screen shots-thoughts?

Hi guys/gals.
I want to let you know that I am not ignoring your posts. I really appreciate the help and direction. I've reordered my grafts, and working my way through the tutorial. If I'm still stumped, I'll let you know.

Re: VPAP Adapt S9 "sensor failure" screen shots-thoughts?

Thanks ChicagoGranny. I've tried 2x, but it's so confusing. I'll give it another try. Maybe I'll understand more this time!
Happy new year to you as well!

Re: VPAP Adapt S9 "sensor failure" message HELP!

Sorry for the long delay in reply, but I wanted to give useful (?) information, but first I had to learn how to do it! JDS74, Thank you for the ACCBIO information. I'll be giving them a call Monday. Unfortunately, bought my machine 2 years and 4 months ago... ChicagoGranny, Your question about the m...

VPAP Adapt S9 "sensor failure" screen shots-thoughts?

Merry Christmas. I guess I was a naughty girl this last year. I woke up at the tender hour of 00:30 to my xpap not working, with the message of: sensor failure contact service personnel. There wasn't any code with the error. I don't know what to do. Pressing the buttons did nothing, nor did disconne...

Re: oxygen concentrator

I did get my unit Wednesday. It is light and relatively small. My estimate is that it's the size of 3 shoe boxes stacked. It is 40 db, not too bad. The unit doesn't have a floating ball to indicate lpm, it is digital, just select your lpm. It seems to have worked well. My first night was better spo2...

Re: Length of O2 hose from concentrater to xpap?

Thanks. I'll be checking my o2 sat while using the o2 with my xpap. Now I don't have to worry about getting a shorter hose. 1 more thing off my mind!

Length of O2 hose from concentrater to xpap?

Does anyone know if there is an optimum length of O2 hose from the concentrater to the xpap? I think the pressure of the O2 would decrease with a longer hose. I thought I saw 10' for a maximum length somewhere, but I can't find it again.

Re: oxygen concentrator

The DME faxed the oximetry report to my lung doc! They were so nice! Now to have him write the rx and fax it in. (I have a copy of the sleep study done by sleep doc. I can get a copy of the brain MRI. I don't have any other things to get, unless I need notes! Good bye sleep doc!) I hope to get my co...

Re: oxygen concentrator

I am in the process of buying a concentration machine. I considered the simply go- I ended up going with the Inogen. The simply go delivers o2 at a max of 2lpm. The Inogen goes up to 5lpm. I don't have the machine yet, so I can't give you any feedback on using it. I can say that Charles at Inogen ha...
