Don't know. I have a BiPAP. Resmed VPAP S. I don't think it has any fancy settings. It won't show me anything useful unless I put the data into sleepyhead.

Re: Respiratory Rate Concern
The normal respiratory rate is generally around 14 - 22 breaths a minute. Keep in mind that it's normal to breathe faster with physical activity and slower when sleeping. That being said, I feel like I'm waking with some tachypnea (fast breathing rate) myself. When you brought up this subject, I che...

Re: CPAP vs. BiPAP
Even after insurance, my cost for my BiPAP (Resmed VPAP S with H5i humidifier) in 2014 was in excess of $1200. I think the total cost would have been like $3000 out of pocket.

Re: Still trying to sort out leaks. :( AHI worse.
I haven't tried a mask liner, because I don't understand exactly what they do or what they're for. It looks like it would hurt the seal. The leaks with the old F20 didn't wake me. I was told those leaks were pretty severe. First night with a new mask. Maybe I was more sensitive because of that. Basi...

Re: Still trying to sort out leaks. :( AHI worse.
I think I may have adjusted the mask four times that I'm aware of, but I know the leak woke me more times than I actually did anything about it. I usually only am aware of holding my breath when I'm first applying the mask. Ok, so, I'll ask: How do I fix the leaks? I've tried three different masks. ...

Still trying to sort out leaks. :( AHI worse.
First night on my new mask, the F&P Simplus. It looks like my leak rate is much lower, but my ahi went from like 0.5ish (I was 0.28 the prev night) to 1.42. Now, I FEEL like I slept better. Much better. The mask is incredibly comfortable. The headgear doesn't hurt. But I did have to wake up multiple...

Re: SD card Rewrite
I found a system volume information folder. I can convince windows to delete the file inside, but not the folder itself. Windows writes this even with write protection on. SD card gets re-written every time I put it back in my machine :( Guess this is just what I have to deal with if I want to read ...

Re: Resmed F20 - must be popular!
The mask doesn't ride up. I meant that I felt that there was no other choice but the F20 when I went to size for a new mask. I've been through two sleep doctors and I've had the same complaints since 2014. The mask either leaks or it hurts. Apparently even thought it hurts it still leaks. I wake fee...

Re: Lines, marks, red spots, mask marks in the morning on my face.
I always get the lines and marks from my mask and headgear. I was told my mask was too tight, but there's no other way to stop the leaks. I just got over the flu, and my sinuses are congested. My mask was so incredibly painful last night. I believe I only got just over 4 hours of sleep. I had to tak...

Re: Resmed F20 - must be popular!
I feel like the F20 was pushed upon me. I wasn't allowed to try on other masks (nor did I know I could ask). Mine is very uncomfortable and leaks.
I've used the same mask for over a year and mine hasn't torn.

Re: SD card Rewrite
Windows is writing that file to the card even when it's locked. I can get the file inside the system volume information folder to delete, but I can't get windows to remove the folder (rmdir) It says it can't find it. I even googled and used different switches (-h I think) to no avail. It's as if dos...

Re: Anyone here use the new Resmed F20 mask...question for you
I've been using the exact same F20 headgear, frame, and mask for over a year at this point, and I've never had any part break or fail. It's just super uncomfortable and leaks, and the magnetic clasps take a lot of getting used to. I will add that I have to tighten my mask down to where it's painful ...

Re: SD card Rewrite
I can not tell which files I need to delete before returning to my machine. I always get the data rewrite error even if I'm positive that the card is locked and that I eject before removal.

Re: One year in and I still feel horrible
You mention every sleep medicine I can think of except Restoril (Temazepam). Just a thought. It's in the Benzo family of drugs (like ativan/lorazepam, xanax/alprazolam, etc). I think it comes in a 15mg and 30mg. *edit* wikipedia mentions restoril should be avoided in people with sleep apnea. I'm a n...

Re: Hallucinations from sleep deprivation
I was so exhausted one night (I think this was AFTER I started treatment but before my recent discovery of my mask leak issues) I was driving home one evening and I almost got into the oncoming lane of traffic. We had just eaten. I was supposed to follow and meet up with the family at the in-laws' h...
