CPAP machines for sleep apnea could decrease heart failure risk

This study, which appears contrary to a previous one (that we took apart on this forum), does say that CPAP use does reduce the risk of heart failure.

The only caveat in this article is that this may not be the case for ASV machines, which is a modified version of a CPAP machine used to treat Central Sleep Apnea.
