Rescomf

I recently purchased a newer CPAP resmed S9 2nd hand it had a slight odor. Does rescomf ozinater really remove any germs bacteria or virus from the internal parts?

Nope, and pumping ozone through the cpap can be harmful to it.

I would just run it near a window or outside for a couple days..change the filter.

More importantly, there's nothing inside the S9 for germs or bacteria to grow on. It's all hard plastics and silicone. Change the filters and wipe it down on the outside... that's the recommended hospital cleaning between patients.

If it smells vaguely perfumey, that's the silicone inside... I've smelled that on many new cpaps.

I figured my new used s9 auto set is approximately a little over 3years old has 7178 hrs on it.. thanks everyone for all the advice on the rescomf.
