I'm keeping this all in mind. Not sitting here fervently hoping I can stop - just really curious...

i would indeed continue wearing the scunci too

So, you think you might be able to treat your SDB effectively with just tape and a Scuncii? After the 27 pages it took to get your treatment dialed in, I'm a little skeptical :)
Jay, this literally made me laugh out loud. Very well said, and extremely effective. :)

Let me just start this post by emphasizing: I am fully aware that I am talking about my *treated* AHI in the post.
yeah,yeah,yeah....
I failed to mention the key element - i would indeed continue wearing the scunci too. So there, you need to get on board here zonker. Can't even consider doing this without your support and encouragement.

Least supportive post I've seen you make, and you did it to your buddy djams. C'mon man, how about a happy gif? Gimme some love here.
my most sincere and monumental apology, my friend. that reads as a much more harsh statement than i intended.
Apologies not at all necessary. All in good, fun. But I *do* appreciate the love!

You *need* it to maintain domestic harmony and allow your darling wife to sleep well by your side.
Spot on. You nailed it here.

Honestly, my wonderings are still there. But as I started thinking thinking this through... Say I decide to pay ~$600 for a home study that will be the nearest equivalent to a lab PSG (provided that I don't screw up the setup). It's only a single night! I'd want at least a week's worth before considering abandoning therapy.

So, I'll be around. :D

Today is my 1 year PAP anniversary! :D

Just want to to say a big THANK YOU to all the CPAPTalk'ers who've helped me along the way! I feel like I've made incredible progression in my therapy, and there's *no way* that would've happened without the advice and education I've gotten here.

From the bottom of my heart - THANKS!!!!

Thanks!

You're getting experienced! Aging like a fine wine. :D

I should've started 10 years ago. But then again, I'd probably have failed without a modern machine...

Quick therapy update. Things are going great. My AHI is averaging <0.1 over the past 15 or so days.

But the bigger deal is the Bleep DreamPort. The nearly complete absence of leaks has got me feeling great. I made a slight modification to my mouth tape application around 10 days ago. I was finding that as the weather got warmer, and the humidity went up, my mouth tape failure rate increased. (but not the dreamport tape). Taping procedure revision A seems to have put a stop to that. I'd sure like to find some of the magical dreamport tape to try on my mouth at night. Additional plus would be no more worries about tearing skin off when removing the micropore tape. Haven't done this for a while (crosses fingers)..

Seems that after a year, I've finally trained myself to sidesleep. That's probably helping out here too.

Hesitant to put this post up, as in the past good news / anything with even a hint of bragging has caused a visit from Pugsy's aliens. Every time. I'll be sure to let you know if it happens again.
