Airfit P10 Mask - Causing Skin Pigmentation Issues?
Over the past year I've started developing darker pigmentation of the skin right where the straps on the Airfit P10 go on my face (towards the upper sides of the cheek bones). I'm going to be seeing a dermatologist but thought I'd ask the members here if anyone else has ever experienced this as a re...

Voice Changes, Hoarseness
I did read several of the other threads but wondering for those that suffered from this issue, were you able to determine whether it was from your CPAP or from other issues like GERD? I do have GERD but it's treated with medication and recently had a scope done which was completely normal. I have my...

Using Nasal Pillow Mask, Dry Mouth - Chin Strap?
I've noticed that I wake up on man occasions with a very dry mouth. I use a Nasal Pillow Mask (Airfit P10) and I'm showing great numbers in the various reports from my CPAP machine. The issue is dry mouth. I thought this would show up on my reports via an increase in "events" but that hasn't been th...

Re: Successful CPAP - Still Extremely Tired
Thanks everyone, these are all helpful responses and I'm going to keep at it and consult back with my family doctor as well just to see if anything else could possibly be the culprit. Had another great sleep last night with AHI readings below 2 with very little mask leak. I'll review the graphs agai...

Re: Successful CPAP - Still Extremely Tired
Tiredness is a common side effect for avapro. Dry mouth can happen from any number of reasons including mouth breathing but it doesn't always mean that a person is having massive prolonged mouth breathing. Just a little mouth breathing can dry out the mouth. If you were having massive mouth breathi...

Please read. http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t172378/Sticky--Newbies-PLEASE-READ-BEFORE-POSTING.html The information (or lack thereof) you provided is meaningless to us. You need to get some software like Sleepyhead (or ResScan) to monitor your therapy......... The "MyResMed" is virtually worthle...

Successful CPAP - Still Extremely Tired
So I recently made the switch to the Resmed P10 Nasal Pillow mask and it changed my life in the sense that I no longer have mask leaks, ahi is below 2 on a regular basis and my resmed shows virtually 100 scores across the board. The problem I'm having is that I'm still extremely exhausted on most da...

Re: Slim line Hose - Heated?
Even if I use a zip cover for the hose?Okie bipap wrote: ↑Mon Sep 24, 2018 6:52 pmYou can use that hose. If you keep your bedroom cold or very cool while sleeping, you may have a problem with rain out. That is the only problem I see with using that hose.

Slim line Hose - Heated?
Are there any issues with using the slimline resmed hoses with the airsense 10 and heated chamber? I just installed the slimline as I prefer it's light weight when connected to my mask but want to make sure its okay to use the temperature setting to warm up the water in the chamber.
Thx

Easily that best mask I have ever tried. The past 2 nights have been an absolute bliss as I don't even notice it on my face. So glad I took the chance and ordered this mask.

Re: Mouth exhalling sometimes
Is there a way to tell using Sleepyhead whether one suffers from mouth exhaling? Although I do not snore any more, I do tend to wake up with a dry mouth from time to time. I tried increasing the humidity setting but found it led to too much moisture at the mask, which makes me wonder whether I'm bre...

Didn't see any condensation or moisture in the tube. my current temperate setting is 28.0 degrees Celsius and humidity level is only set to 2.0. Wonder if the knocking noise is something else?

Sleepyhead Newbie - Clear Airways, Obstructive Events, Large Leak
I've just installed and imported all my data from my Airsense 10 CPAP machine and on average I get AHI readings of less than 2.00. I have noticed that events that are most common are either Clear Airway or Obstructive, but both read less than 0.60 index readings on average. I guess my question is, a...
