Re: Granny's Funny Bone

You use super glue and duct tape to make a good seal. He was a little unclear on how to remove it in the morning, but said it should be no problem. For years, I've been suggesting superglue for people with leak issues... As far as I know, noobdy's ever tried it. ... never thought of duct tape thoug...

Re: Granny's Funny Bone

My guy at the DME turned me on to this new prototype mask. He said when this mask comes out the bleep mask will become instantly obsolete. As I understand it is called the Chernobyl Bloop - Leaks Be Gone Mask. You use super glue and duct tape to make a good seal. He was a little unclear on how to r...

Re: OA and Flow Limit Question

I am smart enough to know I know a whole lot less about this Obstructive Breathing business than I do know. So here is a question : How can I have a 81 second OA event and show no Flow Limit. (as per Sleepyhead). JPB Irregardless of what bonjour says (which may (though I'm far from sure) be 'techni...

Re: OA and Flow Limit Question

Thank you for the reply bonjour. It will add to my base of information. The reason for the question is, when I get up every day I take my sd card to my computer and check my chart. I have noticed when I had events the flow limit chart would react. For example a Hypopnea would have a corresponding re...

Re: Getting official medical help with osa and sp02 levels?

I had same experience. Home sleep study. Went to pick up machine and mask asked questions, no response. Went back for follow up. All they wanted was compliance info. No answers to questions. Told them I wanted sleep study and prescription. They did not want to give them to me. I demanded them. They ...

Re: Is there ANYTHING that doesn't leak?

I use the brevida. It is the first mask given to me and the only one I have used. I got used to it quickly and am very comfortable with it. It will leak. I have learned to adjust it quickly and go back to sleep. I just grab the straps and wiggle, it seats right back in. Good luck in your journey. JPB
