Re: To the people that struggled with depression before CPAP
I've cycled between depression, anxiety, and "normal" most my adult life (I'm 35). Two years ago my sleep became much worse and I started having nasty chronic pain. I can't answer how long it took to be depression free because I'm still in the middle of following various diagnosis and treatment thr...

Re: To the people that struggled with depression before CPAP
I'm just wondering if you can tell me about your experience. Suggested questions, you can ignore: How long did it take you to get better? Did you ever get mostly cured? How are you today? :-) I'm here if anybody needs an ear. I know what it's like to have none. Thanks. While I never told a medical ...

Re: Good sleep oxygen oxymeter?
I would suggest an oximeter that is compatible with Sleepyhead Pulse Oximeters are medical devices used to measure blood oxygen saturation. During extended Apnea events and abnormal breathing patterns, blood oxygen saturation levels can drop significantly, and can indicate issues that need medical ...

Good sleep oxygen oxymeter?
I'm looking for one. The one that connects straight to my apap is new at $900+. Is there a cheaper generic version that could track o2 levels during the night? I'm willing to pay up to $100 if needed. I want it to check my o2 against odd breathing patterns in sleepyhead. Stuck at 1.3-3.5 AHI no matt...

Re: David1447's Therapy Thread
Getting a For Her Airsense 10, if that doesn't work to reduce the ahi to <0.5, ASV is the next step. Thank you for the input.

Re: Help Interpreting Sleep Data, I think it's causing serious issues..
I've been cutting weight for awhile (down 60lbs) and am continuing to cut with a goal of 242, currently 338 this morning. Not focused on numbers since this happened and even cancelled a meet. I haven't been able to lift much and have been doing more of a bodybuilder routine with lighter weights and...

Re: How to be able to fall asleep wearing the damn thing?!?
Try a full face mask. Changed my therapy entirely, and not to sound dramatic, but my life as a result of that are a lot different than if I had given up on therapy.

Re: Help Interpreting Sleep Data, I think it's causing serious issues..
Hey all, Very very long story short, I started using a cpap about 2 years ago, on my own without a test (I know, chastise me later, I need some help right now :) ). It helped my sleep massively! I felt great until a few months ago, I started having intermittent lightheaded-ness. I am a powerlifter ...

Re: New Mask = whole-body stiffness in morning ?
I think Pugsy's reply is spot on. I've also had the case of the morning stiffness when I first started therapy. I actually feel kind of good about it, I know I've slept deeply when it happens.

Re: Treating UARS after surgery, MAD and possibly aPAP failure. Looking for advice on how to proceed.
Hi everyone I’m a new user here looking for potential advice and perhaps a place to vent my frustration. I'm a 23 year old male who weighs 194.8lbs at 1.76m (working on that). Apologies for the oncoming rant as well as asking for information already previously posted. I have researched to the best ...

I've never had any issues in that department, but have you considered tapering off with green/black tea? Just a thought if you find yourself reaching for the coffee pot.raisedfist wrote: ↑Sun Jan 20, 2019 8:13 pmand feel free to hold me accountable and call me names if i fail
