Sure - I had OSCAR set to my old needs - pressure wasn't v. interesting.
It's not very interesting still... (which is good). I LIKE seeing boring pressure graphs.

I wonder how you'd do with a minepap of 16? ...

Since pressure is so boring, it might not hurt to drop it a little, and see if it stays boring, or starts getting active.

Whether you want to do it tonight, or wait a few nights... that's up to you, there's arguments for either side...
I can try that.....
It's possible you needed more PS more than you needed more pressure...

You can explain that to me after I get a good night of sleep.
Should I change PS to 5?

I'm saying "might"... sometimes more ventilation is better than more base pressure.. there's a lot of variables. So, I'm not sure I can explain the exact 'why'.

It looks like you're close, at this point, you're just fine tuning, so, no, I wouldn't change multiple things at once.

either add more ps, or drop the minepap, just to see what effect it would have.

Nice!

One suggestion regarding your OSCAR reports. Take a few screen shots, focus on the graphs demonstrating pressure above 20 cm and pressure support greater than 3. Print them out on a heavy card stock. Bring them into the Doctor who wouldn't consider getting you a Bi-Level, and shove them up his ass.

So, how was this different than your normal sleeping?

I'd give it a couple nights, then try a PS of 5, just to see how you do with it.

Why cardstock?--sandpaper sounds better.

Hi Kate, I have been following your saga and am absolutely delighted that you finally got your new machine and even better, that you are having great results with it. I hope to be following your footsteps the end of the summer when I will be seen at the Sleep Disorders Clinic. You were a great help to me getting set up on my apap and I am hoping there will be an ASV in my future too!
