Re: F30 - sizing, other questions
Cpap.com (sponsor of this forum) offers 30 day mask insurance. If you pick the wrong size, you can send it back and try the other.
I'd recommend calling them. They will likely make a recommendation based on the situation described.

Re: Anyone tried to use AI to detect RERAs?
The Resmed Airsense 10 AutoSet and AutoSet for Her, (perhaps other models) do *attempt* to flag RERAs. I never found the RERA flagging to be accurate, reliable or beneficial. I've since moved on to an AirCurve, and don't miss not having the RERA flagging. Interesting. RERA's were a major component ...

Re: Mask Problems
I started with a full face mask, F20. When I switched to nasal pillows, I was able to drop my min pressure by 5cm. This is because the ffm lower mask straps were pulling my lower jaw back, narrowing my airway. So, the opposite may be better. Try loosening the headgear if possible. Obviously don't wa...

Re: Mouth breathing no matter what, desperate
Here's the corrected link: https://dualbandchinstrap.com Looks like a great idea. For me, switching from ffm to nasal masks revealed that the lower FFM straps were pulling my jaw back, causing me to use a higher minimum pressure than I needed. When i switched, I was able to drop my min pressure from...

Re: Anyone else waking up constantly throughout the night?
If I have coffee out and end up with regular, it keeps me from falling asleep. Near as I can tell, my regular coffee consumption doesn't affect my sleep much. Very much like me, but I drink considerably more before my cutoff. And same thing on the regular coffee after cutoff time, can't fall asleep...

Re: Anyone else waking up constantly throughout the night?
I am an abuser of caffeine starting from the moment I wake up, and about 2-3 nights a week I will have a beer or a glass or 2 of wine around dinner time. All of these things seem to correspond with awful sleep. I think this cycle is sending my anxiety/stress levels through the roof. I'm not very go...

Re: Exhausted lately - does it show in my numbers?
Maybe you're getting too much sleep. The charts in this thread show from 9 to almost 12 hours. Charts in your linked thread from last year show 7.5 to 8.5 hours.
Regularly getting too much sleep isn't necessarily good. Anything change to cause this?

Re: Humidifier almost empty after 1.5 hours of sleep
We enjoy a cold room too. Good for sleeping. What's the humidity in the bedroom? We will be getting out the cold air humidifier when the temperatures drop to the point we have to leave heat running all the time. Out of curiosity, what are your settings? I like cool air from the machine. I use manual...

Re: Mouth tape leak or mask leak?
I have tried a lot of tapes and haven't found one that will take me through the night. Do you clean the areas of your face where the mouth tape touches your skin? I'd been using alcohol to clean where the dreamports stick. And one day it hit me that maybe I ought to do the same for the mouth tape. ...
