Just an idea, since we just had a snowstorm here.
i'm across the border in northern area of washington state. where abouts in bc are you? (i'll be SO happy when we can get back and forth across the border with less strident covid 19 tests!) Re: a thin line between dry mouth and rainout
Just for your info. I have humidity at 5, hose temp at 84, a fleece hose cover using a F30 mask. We leave our window open about 2 inches everynight with the furnace at set to 60F , live in Canada so we are still freezing our ass off. In the morning I have a small amount of condensation on the inside...

What are the qualifications for contributors on this forum to be dispensing advice or counsel to users? Actually there are quite a few of us medical professionals on the forum. Re: MedLock - Neat Product
So two scenarios: Will those magnets give us cancer like some claim 5g, cell phones, electrical power lines, telemetry of hydro meters. portable home phones etc. Or will it cure OSA like magnets placed on strained muscles or those healing electromagnetic wrist bangles. So if it can claim to cure OSA...

Have you looked at the resmed f30. It is a modified full face mask in that it covers your mouth but fits under you nose.

Cheyne stokes respiration correction for me
So come fall and early winter ( until christmas ) machine report showed an increase in Cheyne Stokes with some nights up to 18%. The graphs in Oscar did show the proper waxing and waning with delays inbetween. I also noticed an increase in leak rate ( using an n30 nasal mask ) When I went for my yea...
Doesn't matter, there are people caring for our elderly and sick in nursing homes here in the US that should be first on the list. Every doctor, nurse, police office, ambulance driver, firefighter and others. Lock them prisoners down like we are doing our nursing homes. If our elderly can't...

Re: OT: Enough!
Here in Canada it is the same. Prisoners and street people living in shelters are at the top of the list while the older vulnerable population are in tier 2 as my 93 year old mother. Coming from working in a hospital the only thing I can think of is that if the prisoner gets sick then they are trans...

Re: Sore under nose from nasal cushion
I had the same problem with the P10 even after using it for a year and went from the med to large which was better( hoped the skin would toughen up ) I have now switched to resmed n30 mask size small and found I no longer have sores but the leak rate is higher.

Re: ResMed Air Mini questions
As dog slobber said any different settings can cause a "difference" Also the humidity levels can be totally different. With my work related asthma I need lots of humidity and can tell immediately if there is not enough , with the air mini and their pucks it takes time for the humidity to build up. Y...

Re: Forum posts doing something weird
Taking a looooong time for the site and pages to load. One would think this would be due to heavy traffic, but it looks like activity is down to a trickle. Unless an unseen spam attack is tying up the computers . . . OMG! It's the overseas gambling/narcotics/porn industry! I have to disagree, I thi...
