For Sale: ResMed Air 10 RPS Power Station II Battery Kit for CPAP Device
I hope it's ok to post this pointer to the ResMed battery that I no longer need and am therefore selling on eBay. Purchased for £400 new direct from ResMed. Used only once. Now have a different machine so have no use for this battery. It's in perfect as new condition and will be well packaged for di...

Re: Resmed water chamber issues
Thank you for the replies so far. I do keep the unit & accessories in the provided padded bag when travelling. I rinse the humidifier each morning, standing it upside down (like an upside down V) to dry. I also wash it in warm soapy water approx every one to two weeks. I'm not sure if the heat setti...

Resmed water chamber issues
I have a Resmed Airsense 10, almost 3 years now, with full face mask. I have had to get replacement water chambers maybe 8 times now as each one develops a leak at the seal near the bottom of the unit. Not sure if it's relevant but I travel a lot by car and train and put the machine in its bag then ...

Re: Success story and travel question
Wow! Who's have known that an innocent phrase like "gentle breeze" could have been the focus of the replies What I meant is that it used to feel, when I had the mask on, that I had air blowing at me and it felt unpleasant. Now two months later it doesn't *FEEL* like that any more - i.e. isn't unplea...

Success story and travel question
I last posted in early October when I was still pretty new to having to use a CPAP machine. I was pretty miserable but gained a LOAD of support and information from you lovely lot. So again, thank you. I'm pleased to say that almost 2 months later: - It honestly doesn't feel like "pressured" air puf...

Re: Separate Travel CPAP vs Battery for main machine - UK buyer
Oops my mistake. Was rushing to get my message posted. I do understand that I've switched from APAP to CPAP. Thanks for your very informative responses. I was only thinking I need a battery as I'll be taking a long haul flight and I understand the airlines don't let you plug it in to their sockets (...

Separate Travel CPAP vs Battery for main machine - UK buyer
Hi, Firstly a quick update: I've now switched from CPAP to APAP, having received my ResMed Airsense 10 Elite from the NHS yesterday. The hospital is DELIGHTED at my compliance and how well the CPAP is preventing my apneas (largely thanks to you lot for keeping me going when I could happily have chuc...

Re: Apnea and DVLA (UK) experience
Thanks for your message on my thread. My letter from the hospital saying I had to tell the DVLA came once I'd been diagnosed but my APAP collection appointment was within a couple of weeks. So I filled in the form saying I *will* be on treatment on that date, which is now a week ago (ie I've been o...

Re: Newbie feeling very sad
Things look pretty normal except that you might want to raise the low pressure of 4 to at least 6-7 as 4 is very hard to breathe at and is too low to address events that might occur at levels high enough so that the machine can't catch up in time... most of us have done that, actually going closer ...
