Re: Air Sense 10 Autoset settings for Dreamwear nasal pillows vs FFM

I presume that the Dreamwear FFM should get the full face mask setting on the machine? What's the "nasal" mask option for? Some people seem to refer to the Dreamwear FFM as "nasal" mask and others call it a full face mask. The nasal pillows should use the Pillows setting on the machine. The Full Fa...

Re: ResMed P30i user review

I just got my hands on the P30i yesterday. Not sure I am even going to try to sleep with it unless someone can tell me how to get rid of the Darth Vadar breathing sounds I am getting. Annoying as hell. I don't remember having them with the DreamWear. I guess I am too spoiled with the no Darth Vadar...

Re: Cleaning the P30i pillow filter?

The filer piece is easy to remove from the mask, it's just held in place by the rubber, I always take it out when I clean the mask. However I wanted to go further so I could maybe replace the filter in the plastic piece. SoI broke into the filter, it's moulded plastic and fused together around the ...

Re: Cleaning the P30i pillow filter?

I don't know why you so concerned. The spots are nothing but a little staining. I am not a "clean freak", BUT, I dust my bedroom when the dust piles up enough to bother me. Same with cleaning the bathroom. So I guess this means it's bothering me, when I have enough spare time to notice/think about ...

Re: Cleaning the P30i pillow filter?

Just ran across the Resmed video for removing the diffuser filter from the P30i: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSEfE-F-_8o So, "to save the planet", why can't they just sell this little replacement part??? Would be much smaller/lighter to ship. Actually, the hard plastic piece is probably good fo...

Re: Advice in Cleaning p30i Nasal Pillows

Do you live in a humid region? Mine don't have much trouble drying out during the day. I think the filter might be holding water , making it difficult to dry. Then again, I have central air. If you really need to wash it and have it dry...the hard plastic piece with the filter can be popped out of t...

Just set to Airplane Mode if you are worried about anyone seeing your data.....(I don't know why anyone would want to see it)
Don't care so much about the reporting...don't appreciate the phone call. :x

Re: Phone call at home?

It appears that you are way past the compliance period...Compliance is the first 90 days....Who is "them" that called you? To be honest, I hung up the minute I realized it was a robocall. So unfortunately, I'm not sure who sent it. Doubt it was DME; they play by the rules but are generally chill. I...

Phone call at home?

Has anyone ever gotten a robocall at home about maintaining therapy? I just returned home from a 2.5 day business trip. I do not check bags. my laptop and files fit in a small roller bag and clothes fit in a backpack. I chose to leave the cpap machine at home to minimize the amount of weight I have ...

Re: Cheapest Source for Distilled Water

I have alternated between the supermarket brand and Walmart. Supermarket brand is usually about 89 cents but sometimes they are out and I have to get Poland Springs, which adds 30 cents. We have several markets in town and the other supermarket brand costs 10 cents more so it mostly depends where I ...

Re: New to nasal pillows; is this leak rate acceptable?

Are the leaks waking you up or disturbing your sleep quality? Or are you sleeping soundly and feeling quite decent???? +1 on what Pugsy said... My .02 -- Leaks of the level you are getting would wake me up several times a night and I would not be happy/satisfied. Higher leaks also means higher pres...

Re: How many masks did it take to find the one?

I started in October with Resmed F10, moved to F30, then Dreamwear FFM then Dreamwear gel pillows. I am currently using P30i and have had the best luck so I am sticking with it for now. So 5 in total. I have a wide, flattish nose so the full face masks were really not going to work. I do have a nasa...

Re: Cleaning the P30i pillow filter?

It's just the dirt that comes out of your lungs... even if it was *gasp* the allegedly evil black mold... all the air is blowing *away* from you through that filter. Is that so? Where have I been?? Dunno, It might also just be stuff that made it through your cpap filters... they don't catch...

Re: Cleaning the P30i pillow filter?

I use the P30i and have had the vent diffuser out. Just stretch the soft silicone away from it and it will pop out. Be sure to make note of the orientation. The hard plastic filter and the soft silicone both have notches and tabs that need to match up when you put it back in. It seems fairly solid,...
