Re: How To Make A Fitted Mask Liner

Note that I recently stopped using a chin strap and also started using the forehead adjuster to relieve nasal pressure from the cushion. This has affected the mask and liner's usually consistent ability to achieve zero leaks. Just something to note if your mileage is varied.

If anyone is paying attention, it looks like this thread was started by a known spammer.
Note the multiple links, and very professional-looking promotional images.

If CPAP worked for you (as an example) reducing your AHI by 50% and iNAP worked for you (as an example) reducing your AHI by 50% and using them together meant your AHI reduced by a total of 75% then it’s reasonable to say it's promising. Using iNAP as an adjunct treatment could be enough to tip the ...

Do you want a review from one random individual on the internet? Or do you want the peer-reviewed results of a 35-patient clinical study? I read the paper some time ago and the results look quite promising. I was hoping to get some unfiltered opinions from actual users. Almost every night I spit ou...

Re: How To Make A Fitted Mask Liner

I wouldn't say they're "100%leak free", since a little bit of air will leak through the material. Good point, I'm glad you brought this up. I could've really gone into the weeds on quite a few topics but I wanted to keep the video and description concise. If you use a material that's re-washable, l...

How To Make A Fitted Mask Liner

I made a mask liner for my ResMed Mirage Quattro (small) full face mask which doesn't fall off and makes my mask 100% leak free and just wanted to share the design with anyone who needs it. You can find a video on how to make this here: https://youtu.be/niVs4haMTiA I bought a t-shirt to make these l...

Re: New APAP user. High central apneas.....Canada user

I don't have my sleep study results. Ask you doctor to email you the results of your sleep study. It would be some help for us to see them (but not necessarily). You'll need them to hand at some point in the future anyway and it should list how more severe your apneas are on your back as a percenta...

Re: Tape Users/Others: I felt like I wasn't getting any air and awoke.

I've not experienced this in relation to mouth tape but I've had a similar problem in 3 scenarios: 1) Letting the temperature drop below a certain level, causing condensation to build up in the piping. Because it took a while for the temperature to drop and the condensation to build, it wouldn't hap...

Re: |Huge Leaks after changing Mask Seal Airfit F10

The Airfit F10 looks nicer than most masks because of the lack of a forehead strap but it's terrible with leaks because of it. You can see they meant well eliminating the forehead strap. Lord knows my sleep mask could do without it, but it's also a big reason for leaks and hence why I put it permane...

Re: Question for those who use nasal mask and tape mouths

You mentioned sinuses, ears and headaches. Are you using anything like sudafed to relieve congestion? I only ask because after several years of using Sudafed, I suddenly started getting headaches, jaw ache and ear throbbing 10 minutes into sleep. It wasn't until 2 weeks after I got off it, they went...

Regardless of the machine's settings, if you were you told that you have positional sleep apnea, i.e. you have less events if you sleep on a particular side, I'd get myself a positional sleep device. I can't recommend any because I built my own, In my case, I found that the number of events I had sk...

Re: Air is not humid and warm enough

You're probably sorted by now but I'd highly recommend the Hybernite heated hose which works at one static temperature. I've had 2 Phillips heated hoses and had problems with the temperature despite changing the settings so they're both sitting in a cupboard gathering dust. Although, be warned about...

Re: Resmed water chamber issues

A bit late to the party here but my (Dreamstation) water chamber cracked and had to be replaced 4 times over 7 months. I was putting some kind of herbal decongestant oil in the water (against manufacturers directions, I know.) It's been 2 years since I stopped doing that and the water chamber hasn't...
