Re: Best Time to Take Magnesium for Sleep?

@chunkyfrog I take 250mg Magnesium Citrate doses, and yes, they ARE huge. My solution was finding the supplement packed as coated lozenges. They are smooth and don't stick to your throat as uncoated pill forms often do. Mine are provided by NatureMade but likely to be available from several makers. ...

Re: Any tips to reduced dry mouth and dehydration w/ CPAP?

I've been using my cpap for a few years, but for some reason recently I've been getting severe cotton mouth and dehydration every morning again. I use a full face mask, with a humidifier, and get 95-100% seal every night. I've had this one for 1.5 years and only recently has this become more of an ...

Re: Need to buy ResMed Air Curve 10 vAuto-No Ins or Current Prescription!

... I don’t have insurance or a current script. What are your thoughts on purchasing a refurbished one say from “No Insurance Medical Supplies”, Or from a private party or suggestions on where to buy it new? Thank you in advance for all your help! TL-DR; Bought a low-hours AirCurve 10 VAuto from LS...

Re: OSCAR Suggestions & Bug reporting

I'm not at all certain this a bug, but I would like comments as to what may have happened. OSCAR recorded only 1min 54 sec of last night's session. My Resmed AirCurve V10 Auto shows 8hours 52minutes with an AHI of 0.9 . As this would be a new record low for me I was quite disappointed to have no res...

Re: Software for a Mac?

Hi, I have an iMac now, no PC. Should I be using Sleepyhead or Oscar? I also have a new bi-level machine, and my AHI, which had dropped below 1, are now closer to 2. I’m interested in why the change. Thanks! Welcome! I'm a Mac user also. Both Sleepyhead and OSCAR packages run well on my (older) lap...

Re: OT: Why has Lipton Stopped selling Orange pekoe tea

I drink quite a bit of INSTANT green tea. My taste is unrefined enough that it will do quite nicely; No need to be a snob--I like the taste, and green things have a certain appeal . . . So, uh, Froggy, this would come from your having lived a lifetime of ' green privilege ' ? The Woof is a little c...

Re: Pacifier to keep mouth closed.

Oh my. Look at the "Frequently Bought Together" section - adult onesies: I ❤️ Daddy It is truly heart-warming to see a healthy young woman express affection for her Father. However, I AM somewhat confused by the product marketing claims: True adult size teat; Perfect for Diaper Lovers, age players,...

Re: Suggestions for Quality Tubing

Actually, the main issue I had was my cat chewing on Resmed Climateline hoses. I do need to disconnect it and store it every day or the cat will chew a hole through it. So not really a hose problem so much as a cat problem. Your cat may be bored or it may find the soft hoses enjoyable to chew. Perh...
