Re: respcare innomed hybrid assembly question

I have had the same problem that you are describing.
The only time it has ever caused me any problems is while putting the mask on(cushion slips out). Once the mask is on I have never had any issues from it.
Every now and then I get a cushion and a frame that just wont match up perfectly.

Re: Some CPAPers stay and some go

I would imagine those who have regained their lives with cpap treatment and have busy active lives might have less time for hanging out here (as it should be). My other health issues make me still have plenty time to visit here, just not til 3, 4 and 5am any longer. I coulden't have said it better ...

Re: Water Bubbling Up Hose

Hi sleepingbeauty, Sounds like you are experiancing what we call "rainout" if you search the forum you will find plenty of posts about it. Basically if the room air is cooler than the air in the hose you get condinsation in the hose. You can try a hose cover which you can buy or make also make sure ...

Welcome to the forum! As Wulfman pointed out it might be just a case of getting used to something new it took me a good six months to find the right mask for me and to keep it on. After two years of therapy I began to take my mask off again during the night. I read on the forum that the pur-sleep sc...

I wonder how much it would cost to mail a hose. I would love to see the look on the face of the people at the insurance company when they opened a package with a hose and a note. The note should say "I don't need a new hose every month so since you seem to enjoy paying for one every month you can ha...

It's more of what kind of bed for me.
Anything other than a waterbed and i'm miserable.
Not too many vacation spots have waterbeds.

I have been using the Hybrid nightly for 12 months on straight cpap 10 cm. The mask solved several problems for me and rarely leaks. Rooster are you still using the original pillows and mouthpiece? Like you I have been using the Hybrid for a little over a year and have not replaced anything on it.(...

It is a really bad idea to cover the large hole in the elbow of the mask. If for any reason your machine stops working you run the risk of suffocation. The six holes only prevent re-breathing when the machine is on and air is blowing through them. Call whoever you bought the mask from and if they ca...

If they detect too many leaks they could ship you out a new mask.
They could deduct the cost from your bank account over the same wireless connection!

I used to hear those ads on the radio at least eight years ago.
I always wondered what the heck they were talking about.
when I was first diagnosed I planned to get one that is until I realized that I needed a FF mask.

You could search under a member named rustynail I know she also uses one.

Napping with no mask - no puffies. Napping with no mask is really not a good idea. I know it feels good to sleep on the couch without being all hooked up and have been guilty of it myself. That is until my son woke me up once and said to me "dad your scaring me with that not breathing thing you do"...

What helped me was turning on the heat on my humidifier. Normally I just use the humidifier in passover mode but during the winter when my room got a little cooler than usual I began to feel pain in my nostrils from the cool air. After I turned the heat on the problem went away. Might be worth a sho...
