Re: Lowenstein algorithm for early inhalation
Is it bad to have it start at 5ipap and 4 epap? That is how I fell asleep any higher it is too much to fall asleep. I have it starting at 6ipap once I fall asleep and my old settings on air 11 were 9 iPap with 3 epr

Re: Lowenstein algorithm for early inhalation
Yes I’m finding that out. Last evening I was able to finally sleep with it on. Only for four hours though. That’s more than the previous nights when I took it off after an hour each night not being able to fall asleep. Hope each day gets better because my Oscar waveform and rest was great this morni...

Lowenstein algorithm for early inhalation
So I have been struggling to get used to the early release of iPap with my lowenstein prisma 20a. The timing of breathes make it very hard to fall asleep with it. With my airsense 11 my exhale relief is full then it waits for me to inhale which is great but then when I need the inhale it takes a whi...

I remember you Robysue, so thank you for helping me with my therapy a while back. I’ve come a long way since then but the foundation of things I’ve learned from you I’m very thankful for. So let me try and help because I know electronics pretty well. I believe both those machines you have will need ...

I feel the same way. They're made cheaper so they can continue profiting for us. It seems every one I've gotten doesn't even last a week anymore!

Re: Sleep Study, O2, Do I have UARS
You sleep half the night prone, is that on your stomach? I know my sleep changed dramatically once I started sleeping on my right side! Try changing sleeping positions if you can, it won’t happen overnight but that might help you. Have you been checked by an ENT? Maybe you have a deviated septum tha...

Re: standard or soft response
Lots of good people here to help. I went through a year long struggle changing so many settings and even collapsed and bought lankyleftys video evaluation. It was my last step because I couldn’t figure anything out myself. While he gave me some good information, I think watching all his videos helpe...

Re: Important Jason/AXG video
I’ve been on EPR 3 since I got my airsense 11 two years ago. I tried each setting and found each to add too much air to my therapy. Kept coming back to EPR 3. Right now my range is 9.2-10.4 with epr of 3. For the past year my 95% pressure was 10.4 and my range all night stays within my set range now...

I’m hoping the same! My lowenstein shipped today! I’ve tried almost every setting and I’m hopeful the algorithm of softpap will help me better than resmeds!

Re: Safety Concern on the Lowenstein Prisma 20a
Thank you! That makes a lot of sense and I do trust this company much more than Phillips. The fact that you can change it and that its much better quality than the Furniture Foam that Phillips put in their machine gives me a lot of ease. Ordering now! Although shipping isn't free to USA, how did you...

Safety Concern on the Lowenstein Prisma 20a
Hi I wanted to make a thread about this topic because I just have a bad feeling when anything foam is put inside or near a cpap machine. My plan is to get this Lowenstein machine because of the overwhelming positive reviews on it. The thing that is still holding me up is the foam filter. They say to...
