I have found that a soft fabric mask liner, like Pad a Cheek, is more effective
and more comfortable.
Paper does nothing for me.
The remzzz is a soft fabric. I can't imagine using paper.

Re: Curious_Steve's rolling updates.

Hello all. I used my Simplus mask for a while and was getting these permanent lines/depressions on my face. In order to keep it from leaking, I had to wear it super tight. For some reason, about 3/4 of the way through the night, my skin oils/perspiration/slobber/humidity cause the silicone to slip a...

Re: New user introduction

Last night seemed to be a pretty good sleep session if I base it on how I felt today. I don't recall rolling around too much, and at one point when I did roll over my ear was pretty sore like I had been lying on it for a while. I upped my pressure 1 cm, and tightened the mask a touch to try to elimi...

So Monday's sleep datalog proves how I felt on Tuesday?
Using a "surrogate" in "SkyLab View" isn't going to "prove" anything.

But.....
I don't understand what you're saying

... I don't have enough context.
But you do!

Look at the y-axes. Different scales. For example, Monday Tidal Volume looks very quiet, but the scale is doubled.

Another shortfall of SleepHQ.
So Monday's sleep datalog proves how I felt on Tuesday?

Clue: Go straight to your second impression...
I appreciate the guidance, but I have to be upfront and admit that I struggle to decipher what you mean when I don't have enough context.

Because it almost seems like they disagree with how I feel I slept.
What does that mean specifically?
To my untrained eye, the data seems to suggest I slept better Monday than on Sunday. But I felt like garbage yesterday.

Re: New user introduction

Sunday night and Monday night were polar opposites. Sunday night I feel like I got good sleep. Monday night I feel like my brain never shut down....to the point that I felt like I wasn't actually asleep. Do the datalogs corroborate this? Because it almost seems like they disagree with how I feel I s...

Re: New user introduction

I feel like I am sleeping deeper, but not necessarily better. Using our surrogate (Minute Ventilation)(aka "Flintstone Tools") and counting pixels of stuff that could be sleep: https://i.imgur.com/MX8fWbW.jpeg your pSE (psuedo-Sleep Efficiency) has gone from 43% to 72%. Yay, right? Except a 70% Sle...

Re: New user introduction

Curious what y'all think about my datalog. IMO I'd say there's ~25% improvement from what you (I) looked at earlier. Still room for improvement. Thank you for the insight. Also, I've been making a conscious effort to limit coffee enjoyment to morning hours only as you recommended a few posts back. ...

Re: New user introduction

Here's last night. https://sleephq.com/public/a94b9be6-0d2e-4f8e-9487-f05f9891274a Last couple of nights I have been putting a piece of t-shirt material between my mask and my face. It has all but eliminated the dreaded face fart mask leak, and I don't have that slimy feel to my skin. Curious what y...

Re: New user introduction

but I seem to roll around quite a bit because the arm/shoulder I'm laying on gets mad at me. Ahhhh...that might be it as well. Any discomfort can/will mess with our sleep. I have that TShirt myself. But sometimes even when you know the problem and try to fix it we can't fix it well enough to help t...

I feel like I slept pretty good last night, How do you or did you feel today? And yes...same arousal flagged events. I feel pretty much the same way everyday. Ready to get up when the alarm goes off at 5:30am, and I am pretty well alert all day. Don't get me wrong, I am tired at the end of the work...

Re: Testosterone therapy and CPAP

Does anyone here take (or know someone who does) testosterone therapy and is also on CPAP ? I just had a blood test and shows I have low testosterone, probably due to my obesity. I am seeing my doctor soon about the results and to ask if they can put me on testosterone replacement therapy. Supposed...
