Re: Inventory issues?
I think the shortages are genuine. I was talking to my supplier a couple of days ago - he said that since the recall he can't get Resmed or F&P machines without a long delay. This is in Australia, where Resmed machines are made, not in the US. He also speculated that the semiconductor shortage has m...

Re: Advice/Guidance on my journey back into CPAP
G'day Glasswalker. Thanks for the detailed context - it really helps that we are not guessing about things. Ignoring those clusters, your numbers aren't too bad, so I suggest we focus on the clusters first. To me, it looks like a postural problem, where your sleeping position is putting stress on th...

Re: Advice before I buy a CPAP
The degree and quality of follow-up will vary according to to your particular doctor, machine provider and the medical system in place where you live. Assuming you're in the United States, the follow up is generally not very good, as shown by so many stories on these forums. As suggested above, ask ...

Are you a health professional? If so, contact Philips. Alternatively get the person who supplied your CPAP (presumably a professional) to make the adjustment for you.

I did request manual and it says that auto on can be turned off via care orchestrator. What is this and how do i login in it?... ...So my question is how can i get into care orchestrator? Orchestrator is a Philips proprietary software that allows remote monitoring and control of CPAP machines. It i...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10, turn on "events per hour" in report menu?
Found the card the first day I got it. The machine doesnt say anything about having a sim card etc, but the paper work from the Sleep nurse says something about viewing my data on the ResMed Airview? Dont know how that would work given I havnt entered any wifi information. There are two separate da...

Re: Just Diagnosed - Advice...in Australia
G'day Lozz08, welcome to the forum. A lot of Australian outlets have been pushing Chinese machines like BMC and others. Avoid these - they may well be good machines but are not really proven. And they won't be compatible with Oscar. Because of the cancer foam recall, nobody should be selling Philips...

Re: Trying to Purchase a philips respironics Bipap asv dsx900 in the UK?
G'day Randoers7. It's unlikely you'll get a Philips machine in the near future - there has been a world-wide recall due to the fact their internal foam insulation has been found to break down and release carcinogenic gases. The alternative Resmed Aircurve 10 CS Pacewave ASV is generally regarded as ...

G'day Ashton.
Are you located in Australia? If so ASV machines retail around AU$3,800 and most health funds give a rebate around $500 - $750, depending on your extras cover. (Some more, some less). If you're in Perth by any chance, get in touch - I may be able to assist.
Regards
Paul

Re: Too many events per hour
I have a laptop computer. I still use the sane Resmed RSV. Not familiar what Oscar Chart is. Doctor never mentioned what type of apnea I have. He said it was severe apnea and needed to wear a full face mask. I have always had good readings for about 2 1/2 years. I was always almost 99-100% and Epis...

IVAPs is a standard feature of the Lumis 150 (similar to Aircurve 10 ST): https://www.resmed.com.au/healthcare-professionals/products/devices/lumis-150-vpap-st However I really wonder if it's appropriate for you. Despite a lot of facts, you haven't given us much actionable information, but my educat...
