OT: The doggie version of PAP/oral-device?

Post by lazarus » Thu Dec 14, 2023 6:33 pm

Any round-headed flat-faced people like me tried the sleeping-with-a-dog-toy-in-the-mouth method? :D

Good point.

But maybe I'd better preemptively add an "OT" designation to the subject line first, though, since most of the animals who used to post at this forum seem to have left, thanks to her good work! The humans are mostly better at typing and answering questions verbally anyway.

This topic is more on topic than a discussion about various insurance plans for only Medicare people....at least sleep apnea and the airway needing to be open was mentioned here.

Not everyone here is on Medicare...duh...it's not all about us old folks.  And not everyone gets a choice when open enrollment begins or ends....and there hasn't been 2 or 3 other duplicate posts where you talk about sleeping with a dog toy in our mouths like there was about Medicare open enrollment from someone who doesn't seem to appreciate the fact that there are a lot of people out here that actually like their Advantage plan. The bias is abundantly clear.

AND I bet if I did edit your post's subject line you wouldn't be stupid enough to go and remove my edit which we both know would really piss me off....and no one wants to piss me off.  It's a good way to see the entire thread go poof.

I prefer the term "pleasantly mature."

Never underestimate the stupidity of a forum poster like me. You'd be surprised of the stupidity I can be capable of.

I prefer to try to make you chuckle when I can. I may be clumsy about it. But my heart is usually in a good place. Like bulldog puppies.

And if I wanted to irritate anyone, it would probably be Chicago Granny.

Thanks for putting up with us all, Pugsy. It is appreciated.

I was interested in lurking around and learning about choosing a mask, but the conversation morphed into something Canadians don't understand.

If it solved my leaks, I am not adverse to resorting to dog toys. lol

Canadians understand everything, in my experience; they're just too polite to let on that they do.

I use the reviews and info at CPAP.com for mask shopping. It's a good resource, I find, even if you live where you can't buy from them.

I understand that in the Old Testament it meant occupational therapist.

But now I've forgotten what we were talking about.
