I was diagnosed with a sleep time AHI of about 8.5 several months ago after 2 years of waking up every 2-2.5 hours and often it was difficult to get back to sleep after waking up and using the restroom. I use a Resmed Airsense 10 with Resmed Mirage Micro nasal mask. I mouth tape and use a soft cervical collar and they both almost completely eliminate snoring but still I wake up. Often after the 2nd time I wake up I don't put the mask back on.
I've been using the machine for 5 months and am still waking up every 2 hours or so, the sleep time. AHI's are good (<2) every single day. I wore noise canceling earbuds a few nights in a row and still woke up so I don't think it's from the noise of the machine.
I've tried wedge pillows, a wedge under the bead, the Knightsbridge chinstrap, 2 different machines, and 3 different masks (2 nasal masks and 1 nasal pillow mask) as well.
I've attached 3 nights' worth of data. These 3 nights I used a 9-12.3 range for pressure but I've tried various other intervals to no avail.
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

Waking four to six times per night is normal. The problem comes if you can't fall back to sleep within a few minutes. How are you doing in this regard?
Judge your sleep by how you feel at bedtime the next day. Were you energetic during the day? Was there an excess sleepiness? Are you fatigued at bedtime but not stressed?
CPAP fixes sleep-breathing. Sleep takes good sleep hygiene.
