Chin strap or mouth tape

I just switched from a full mask to a nasal mask. Last night I had a large leak and I recall waking up because my machine turned off so I think I had opened my mouth during sleep. Do you all recommend a chin strap or mouth take and if so, which ones to prevent mouth opening/breathing. I am wrapping up my first month and still trying to find the perfect mask/option for me.

Chin straps keep you chin up, but they don't necessarily keep you mouth closed or stop mouth-breathing.

I tape with Cover Roll Stretch.

Like DS, I use tape. But if jaw-dropping is your main problem, you could try a soft cervical collar instead of a chin strap.

Has a user tried the Cover-Roll Stretch tape and the Nexcare Strong Hold Pain-Free Removal Tape to determine which worked best?

I'm currently trying the Nexcare Strong Hold Pain-Free Removal Tape, which is practical and comfortable. There is a significant cost difference between the products.

They work about the same, I tried a variety to start with and landed on the cover roll because it it way cheaper than the Nexcare and works for me.
