Or simply a guy who has non-stop activities in multiple states every day. Dude probably gets 5 hours of sleep per night.

Re: Confusion over cleaning hose/tubing
Just one guy's opinion, but hoses don't really need cleaning. I cleaned it once, the first night, then never again for 7 years. When it wears out I get a new one. This is the third one so far.
Just clean it as much as you feel comfortable. Or not.

Because there's no significant market for anything shorter.

Re: Resmed AirCurve 11 announced
I agree with most of your analysis, but some of us do use MyAir as that check engine light before pulling out OSCAR, and it's hard to find Airsense 10's that aren't the silly card-to-cloud model.

Re: Battery Backup solution for Resmed S9 with H5i
No doubt. Fortunately these batteries are pretty cheap. Maximizing its lifespan isn't my goal. I test mine 3-4 times per year all the way to empty to validate the whole system. Three years in and it's still kicking so far!

You have to get on the ball with your Medicare. We're a few years away but already planning for it. This is one of the best overviews I've seen:

Re: Travelling to Bangladesh
Hi Guys , Can I take my CPAP machine inside my Carry on Language ? That really depends on the policies of the airline you fly, but I've flown internationally a bunch on quite a few airlines and none have given me any issue. As Zonker said, it's usually allowed as a medical device in addition to you...

Re: Just Venting/Questions
is it washable? Yes. I've had mine for years and wash it every couple of weeks (breaking my rule about not cleaning anything CPAP-related). So if the mouth is able to open, what's the purpose? Not sure, you can see his mouth is clearly covered. This isn't theory - I use it, it works. Sometimes the ...

Re: Husband says CPAP is scary and unattractive...
You're husband needs to get with the program. CPAP is one of the least obtrusive medical treatments. 60 is nothing. If he's grossed out by a machine and a mask, what's he going to do when you're in your 70's, 80's, and 90's? There are way worse treatments to way worse conditions that either of you m...
