Its hard not to become a little focussed on numbers and results even if its not the main game.
Last night I hit 0.6 AHI Events...and I was delighted to have gone under 1.0
I have been in the 1.6 to 4.8 range for a while...and I feel great every day.
My Sleep Therapist said "dont get caught up in the numbers" but commended it as a great result. She also said.."less than 5.0 is normal".
CPAP Sleep Therapy really works for me.
I am well pleased...particularly because I have perservered and tolerated the therapy...and I have a heart issue under investigation.

Congratulations on your low numbers. Yes, the medical community considers anything under 5 as being properly treater. However, many of us here on the forum consider anything higher than 2 as being unacceptable. My AHI is usually less than 1.

Excellent result! I agree with Okie B. -- just getting under 5 isn't good enough. But under 1 is terrific!
