heated hose questions

Post by onward60 » Sat Mar 30, 2024 5:13 am

I have an airsense 11 with a heated hose. When it is set to 76, should it feel warm to the touch? (Mine does not.)The room temp is 70 degrees. Also, will covering a heated hose help with rainout or is that redundant?

No, it's not going to feel noticeably warm. Remember your body temp is 98.6 or so and anything less than that isn't going to feel all that warm..

Putting a hose cozy on a heated hose is a bit redundant but it can be done. It won't make the hose air temp, that you have set, any different but it might use less electricity maintaining that temp.

Thanks. That makes sense.
