Re: angular cheilitis And CPAP
Possibly could be low B12 or folate. Definitely have those levels tested. Or just supplement yourself and see if they go away. These are water soluble vitamins aka what your body won’t need you’ll just eliminate. Hope this helps!

Re: OSCAR Suggestions & Bug reporting
I’d like to suggest a side to side scroll feature. I have to look at the charts carefully because many of my type of events just won’t get flagged. It’s very difficult to do without a way to “scrub” through the charts. That’d be a very nice addition, unless there is already a way to do this(?). Kee...

Re: Help!-machine shift(?) while falling asleep-VAuto
The linked post below is exactly what’s happening to me and you answered it very well for the OP. Really helpful info! http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t173578/explanation-needed-for-Timin-and-Timax.html#p1275520 just a suggestion, not a command. it's good to keep these sorts of conversations unde...

Re: Help!-machine shift(?) while falling asleep-VAuto
Now, dropping pressure (not a suction) before you're ready can be a thing, that's where TiMax comes in, and maybe cycle. TiMax is the max time in seconds, that it will stay at IPAP. You already increased it (as did I) but you can bump it to 4. If you're taking really long slow breaths, the machine ...

Re: Help!-machine shift(?) while falling asleep-VAuto
I DO NOT recommend changing TiMin unless you have a neuromuscular disease that makes it difficult for you to inhale. The machine *does not* 'shift' in any way, it just responds to your breathing, when you start to inhale, it increases pressure by 3cm, when you start to exhale, it drops that pressur...

Help!-machine shift(?) while falling asleep-VAuto
I’m a very new user. My first night was last night... got in 3.5 hours out of 7.5. So not too bad for a first try. I was having an issue where while awake I could breathe normally and not “fight” the machine, but as I started to drift asleep I could feel the machine “shift the rhythm” in a way which...

Re: New user-Help with settings please (Vauto)
I’m sorry I didn’t make it more clear that I do not have a cpap machine now, but will be receiving one in the mail on Monday. I used my previous machine twice and unfortunately/stupidly gave up, 18 months ago and no longer have the machine. I have no previous data and nothing to go by. I hope someon...

Re: Help?-I want to video record my sleep
Good luck my friend! I hope it provides a helpful piece to the puzzle. Mine should be here today. Yay amazon prime! Yes, I ordered it last night, already shipped. If the set-up is tricky maybe we can help each other. Did you read the first couple reviews? They said this thing can spy on you, I don'...

Re: Lots of problems with a low AHI - waking, fatigue, nightmares, brain fog
I am wondering about what drugs and/or supplements you take, if any. Many have side effects that could disrupt your sleep with nasty dreams. E.g. Melatonin with vitamin b can cause weird dreams. Heart medicine can disrupt sleep. When i take magnesium citrate before bed, I sleep heavily. A glass of ...
